This Raiden Fellow Sure Does Hate Humans, Eh.

Raiden's point of view:

Most of the fighters in this tournament were either killed or eliminated. Now both Earth realm and Outworld consisted of five fighters each. On the side of mortals, it had Johnny Cage, Lui Kang from the White Lotus, Sonya Blade, myself, and some weakling known as Ezekiel Anderson, who has shown no combat skill whatsoever. How do these mortals expect to succeed in the battle against Outworld if it is only filled with weaklings, I am the only fighter here who can be victorious over the forces of Outworld and save Earthrealm. It was now night time and Shang Tsung was sitting on his throne and announced the first fight for the remainder of the tournament and said to all of us in the courtyard.

Shang Tsung: "Greetings combatants, as you all know, many combatants from Earthrealm and Outworld have fallen in the tournament and you are all that remains. For the first true match of the tournament, I present Reptile, who will be representing the realm of Outworld, and his opponent shall be Johnny Cage who will be representing Earthrealm."

Syzoth revealed himself from his invisibility while he was on top of the courtyard and jumped to the battlefield where Johnny Cage was and he said to everyone present.

Johnny Cage: "All right, it's showtime!"

They both prepared to fight against each other and Syzoth growled at Johnny Cage and then told him

Syzoth: "Prepare to die, Earthrealmer."

Johnny Cage's only response was.

Johnny Cage: "Cool sound effect, man. I also do effects, but the only difference between you and me, my friend is that. I am the special effects!"

Shang Tsung: "Fight!"

Syzoth went for a jump attack on Johnny Cage who was able to block the attack and throw Syzoth away from him then he started glowing green and did a shadow kick to hit Syzoth in the stomach which surprised the mortals. Syzoth then fired an acid ball and aimed it at Johnny Cage who said.

Johnny Cage: "Woah."

Johnny Cage ducked just in time to dodge the attack then he got back up, but Syzoth used his speed to get behind Johnny Cage and did a barrage of attacks on him then grabbed his head and tried to take off his mask to bite Johnny Cage, but he was able to break free and did a barrage of swift kicks on Syzoth's head and then he glowed green once again and did a shoulder jump to get Syzoth to the air then he ducked and waited for Syzoth to get down at the right moment then did an uppercut at him which got him away from Johnny Cage, who stood up and said.

Johnny Cage: "Oh yeah, who's the man."

Everyone was surprised or impressed by Johnny Cages' performance, but it will not be enough for the survival of Outworld then I heard someone speak to me and say.

???: "Think Cage's gonna win?"

I turned to my side to see that it was the weakling known as Ezekiel Anderson who had asked me that question and I only replied to him in a stern tone.

Raiden: "You are all weak compared to the forces of Outworld and don't have a chance against them besides myself."

Ezekiel: "Arrogant much, Tall guy?"

Raiden: "I am a god of Thunder and the protector of Earthrealm, but every time I save this forsaken realm, you mortals just prove how incompetent you truly are."

Ezekiel: "Look, I don't know what the fuck are you on about, but whatever, I'll just let you be, and by the way, nice amulet."

He left me to be while I continued to observe the battle between Johnny Cage and Syzoth. Syzoth was getting back to the fight and Johnny Cage fired green projectiles at him, but Syzoth managed to dodge the projectiles then Syzoth took off his mask to reveal his more reptilian face which had scared some mortals. Syzoth then fired an acid spit at Johnny Cage who ducked to avoid the acid spit from Syzoth and ran toward him. Syzoth prepared to attack him, but Johnny Cage ducked and did a swift kick on both legs to make Syzoth lose balance then he kicked him in the head, rendering him unconscious and making him the winner of this match.
