Chapter 1: mixed feelings

The red sun of hell rose up and shone through Angel Dust's window. Angel, refusing to get up, pulled the blanket up to cover his face. He grumbled, finally giving in to the fact that he can't fall back to sleep. He looked at his clock, it was 6:13, he was late.

He quickly got up, put on his regular suit and bow, and ran downstairs. He promised Vaggie he would help with cleaning, in return for baking him her famous strawberry filled muffins.

Angel's POV:
"Oh no oh no oh no, Vaggs is gonna kill me!" Ok ok, muffins are not the only reason I wanted to help out, I wanted to spend time with her. But ma stupid alarm wasn't workin' so I overslept. God I hope she isn't angry.

"I'm here, I'm here, so, what do I have ta do Vaggs? " Please, please, PLEASE don't fucking kill me! "Oh, you're here, great, I thought you died" she said sarcastically. "Oh come on! It's not MY fault my alarm wasn't workin'!" I said in defense. "Let's get this over with" she replied.

It's been 2 hours and the place ain't the only thing dat's lookin' good right now. I have done a lot, but I keep on getting distracted. Vaggs was wearing her shortest crop top and shorts, like she was TRYIN' to mess with me. "Hey Vaggs, let's have a break, I feel a bit woozy from all this cleanin'" I finally said to break the silence. "Yeah, you're right, I'm exhausted" she laughed. Oh fuck, now my face was as red as the strawberry filling in Vaggs' muffins. Speaking of muffins, I now remember what I was doing this for~ muffin time!

Vaggie's POV:
I- WE did a great job cleaning.and now , it's time for a break. I saw Angel's face for a second and saw his face was red and swooning. Over what? Me? No, no, we're just friends... Right? I've recently caught myself several times swooning over him. And before you ask me about Charlie, we broke up, unfortunately. But that was 8 months ago and, we're still friends. She's with Alastor now. I still don't trust him, but if anyone could make him a soft, loveable person, it would be Charlie. But enough of her, now, let's focus on Angel and me. We recently had a movie night together, and we ended up sleeping together. And boy, did it get awkward. I must admit, I have grown to like him. Maybe a little more than JUST A FRIEND. I just know that if I tell him, he will mock me. Because of our sexualities and all that but, we've been at each other's throats for a long time now, and I don't think he will randomly start loving me after almost 5 years of rivalry. I just don't know...
