Recap from Chapter 1
She relaxed on the couch and began calling her best friend, Hyunwoo. She told him about it and he congratulated her and told her that he knew a few apartments in Seoul and he could help her pick houses. Then after a few days, she went to Seoul and began searching for apartments. After a few days, on the 18th, she finally found the perfect flat, 403 in Queens Apartments.

"Eomma, are you ready?", Soomin called out to her aunt. "Yes, help me get my suitcase down, dear.", her aunt came down the stairs struggling with a huge suitcase. Soomin took the suitcase from her hand and said, "Oh my god, eomma. How many clothes do you have? This is your 5th luggage." Her aunt laughed and told her to keep the suitcase in the car. While they reach Seoul, let me introduce you to her aunt. Park Soo-kyung, aged 55, is Soomin's mom's aunt. She adopted Soomin when she was 2 years old, after her parents' accident. Soomin is unaware of the fact that her parents are dead. All she knows is that her aunt, whom she calls eomma, is her real mom, and that her dad passed away many years ago.
After a long drive, they finally reached Seoul. "We are here, eomma. Eomma wake up.", Soomin said while moving her aunt's shoulders. "Oh, we are here? What time is it?", her aunt asked. "It's 7 PM, you must be hungry. Do you want to go get dinner first or go to our apartment?", she offered her aunt some water as she said this. "Let's get some dinner, then we can eat it at our apartment and unpack." "Okay, what do you want to eat? Wait, I know a really good restaurant here, we'll go there and choose.", said Soomin. Her aunt nodded and they headed for the restaurant, The Bibimbap.
After 5 minutes, they were standing in front of a huge restaurant. They quickly got in and ordered some meat, ramen, japchae, jjajangmyeon and soju. "Isn't this too much, dear?", her aunt asked worriedly. "It'll be fine eomma, and if we can't finish it we'll get it packed and take it home.", Soomin replied. They started eating their food and reached home at 9 PM.
"Which floor is the apartment on?", her aunt asked. "4th, flat number 403.", replied Soomin. She unlocked the door and said, "The passcode is 971001, my birthday." Her aunt nodded and showed a thumbs up. They got in and unpacked the essentials and kept the food in the fridge. Most of their stuff, like the sofa, fridge, beds, etc., were already sent to Seoul and shifted to the apartment. All they had left to move were their clothes and other personal things. The house they lived in Gwangju was put up for rent and someone had already decided to move into it.
After some time, Soomin came out to keep the trash in the trash bin outside and saw something, "Oh, these are gift packages, I think I have a neighbour in 404. I'll bake some cookies tomorrow and meet them."
She went inside her house, locked the door and went to sleep.
