Naging casual kaming dalawa ni Kristina,we acted like nothing happened last night and I will see to it na magiging okay kami hanggang sa makauwi sila ng aking anak.
Sais and I are playing basketball outside while Kristina is cooking our breakfast.
"Yeeyy!"exclaimed Sais matapos mai shoot ang bola sa ring.
"I am great!I am great!"
"Yes you are,son."Sabi ko,sabay gulo ng buhok niya.
His innocent eyes looked at me.
"Why?"I asked.
Sa halip na sumagot ay hinawakan niya ako sa kamay at hinila papasok sa bahay.
We stopped in the living room and stood in front of the semi circular full length mirror. I am wondering what he is doing but I just waited for him to talk.
"Hmm...I think you're my dad."
Natigilan ako sa sinabi niya.
"My eyes looks like yours,even my nose and my lips,look!"he pointed our reflection in the mirror.
"You think so?"
He twisted his lip."Not just think,I am feeling it."
"What about your Dad Enrique?"
He shook his head. "No,we're not alike,and my heart is not beating fast whenever I stare at his face."
He is smart,anak ko nga siya!
Pumihit siya paharap sa akin at tumingala.
"So are you my Dad?"
Nanubig ang aking mga mata.
"What if...its a yes,is it okay with you?"
He pouted."Its okay,I now have 2 dads!.....oh what's that smell?"
I went after him ng tumakbo siya papunta sa kitchen.
"Wow!!bacon!!"Utas ni Sais.
"Syempre niluto ni Mommy ang favorite mo anak!"
Niyakap nito si Kristina sa beywang."Thank you Mommy!"
"You're welcome anak.O sige na umupo ka na at ng makakain."
Tumalima si Sais at umupo na.
"U-upo ka na rin...."halatang naiilang na alok ni Kristina."
"Si-sige,pero mauna na muna ka--"
"Sit down,and eat with us Dad..."
Nagkatinginan kaming dalawa ni Kristina.
Di ako makapagsalita.
"He is my dad,right Mommy?my real dad."
Kristina was stunned for a minute.
"Oo baby..." Kristina answered.
"So I now have two dads,that's cool!"
Lumapit si Kristina sa kanya.
"Sige na baby..kumain ka na."Pag iiba ni Kristina sa usapan.
Nagkatinginan ulit kaming dalawa.
"Ku-kumain na tayo."Aniya.
Humila na rin ako ng upuan.I sat across them.
Sais smiled at me.
"Why son?"
"Nothing,I am just happy to see you."
"You're not mad at me?"
"Why would I?"
"Kasi...."
I stopped when Kristina looked at me and shook her head.
"Kain ka pa baby.."sabi ko nalang sabay ngiti.
Shit!ang saya saya ko!sarap maging tatay!
