It was already the beginning of the next day when Kira arrived at a large portal.
She was out of breath when she stood in front of the portal and jumped in.
After she disappeared, the portal closed and only a brick wall was visible.
Just as the portal disappeared, Paul came running.
He shouted angrily: "****!" and stomped on the hard ground. Suddenly he started standing on one leg and holding his leg, which hurt.
His pain wasn't bad but the fact that he had lost to Kira in the race also added to the pain.

Kira ended up back home in her room, which she hadn't expected. Apparently her journey was over, but she still hasn't found the origin of the ghosts?!
Suddenly she heard footsteps, was that her mother? Or her father? Neither of them should know that Kira is there, otherwise she would have to explain the impossible. Namely how she got into the house.
But what should she say then? The truth probably wouldn't be a good idea?!
Frantically and very spontaneously, she jumped through the portal again and disappeared just as her mother came into her room and asked: "Kira, are you there?"
She looked around sadly and left the room again. But Kira didn't notice anything, after all, she had already jumped into the portal without thinking about the year.
Where did she end up? So what year? Until now she always had an idea of her goal, but now...
