"Have those sent to King's Landing in a three weeks time." Aemma instructed the blacksmith of Dragonstone. "I want them exactly as in the drawing." She repeated and the man nodded again."Yes my princess." The man, Theo, nodded and bowed to the princess.
"Thank you." She murmured before leaving the armories of the castle to return to the great hall.
The princesses had spend a fortnight between Dragonstone and Hightide, flying, swimming and hawking all days. Helaena had taken some colors and she was stunning, her natural Hightower waves heavier in her hair and her mother's freckles more visible on her face. But today was the day they would return to king's landing. Daemon had insisted on accompanying them on dragonback and Aemma was grim at the prospect of leaving her family once more.
"Let's go girls." Daemon said, grabbing dark sister and leaving the great hall after Aemma and Helaena had said their goodbyes to the family.
Aemma and her mother shared a warm embrace, and the former promised to remain out of trouble until her name day.
Helaena had gotten along with everyone in Dragonstone, except maybe for Daemon. Every time he was in the same room as her, her mind would go blank and she would stare at the wall. She flinched once, when he got too close to her and Daemon didn't mind at all.
He didn't really care about the girl nor any of her siblings, except evidently, for Rhaenyra.
The three royals were quick to get to the dragon-mont and mount their beasts. Caraxes flew above the two other dragons. Bloodfyre led the way, flying close to the water whilst Dreamfyre was the slowest of them. Wandering in the skies circling above Bloodfyre.
During the last few leaves, Aemma and Daemon had a race, which the latter evidently won, as always.
Helaena was the last to arrive, she landed graciously on the dusty floor of the dragon pit.Aemma dismounted her beast and as soon as she caught sight of the dragon keepers, Bloodfyre ascended in the skies once more, returning to her lair, Caraxes, who had no intention to part with his mate, flew through the skies following the Red Beast to her den.
Two red shadows broke through the skies and Dreamfyre was led back into the depth of the pit.
"My prince," Ser Criston Cole spoke up as he and Lord commander Westerling arrived with a carriage on the pit. "You were not expected."
Daemon frowned at the sight of this petty knight atop his horse, standing tall in his armor as if he hadn't broken his oaths and laid with the princess.
"I need not being expected in my own house Ser.. Crispy right ?" Daemon said making Aemma smirk, while adjusting his belt.
Criston glared at his prince from his horse and replied in a false sense of sorrow. "Criston Cole, my prince."
