a young boy with white hair had been laying in the bed as he stared at the ceiling of his room.

"mother..?" he called out

the woman with blonde waves and rosy red eyes came to his side "yes athanasius?" she smiled softly at him

he covered his mouth with his covers as he looked away "i don't want to sleep alone." he mumbled out with embarrassment

diana giggled "so then would you like me to stay or shall i bring ariella?" she asked

"mother can stay!" he said

diana decided to sit at the end of his bed "don't worry athanasius when you fall asleep.. me, you and his majesty will meet in a dream in a world only we know." she said sweetly

"the world where the two of us will keep you safe and take all of your worries away."

"really mother? does a world like that exist?" he asked yawning

she nodded as she breathed out a laugh "of course it does."

athanasius felt his eyes grow heavy at her words and he tried keeping them open before he finally closed them losing to the sleep

diana turned around as she smiled and stood up from her spot to lift up his bangs and give him a kiss on his forehead as he snoozed away.

"sweetest dreams my angel athanasius." she whispered before walking out.

athanasius felt sweat go down his face as he felt his fathers cold presence

"why..why do you always do the opposite of what you are told?" claude stated coldly

athanasius stared at the ground "i-i'm sorry father for not listening i-" he was then interrupted as claude stepped closer towards him

"was you being confided in your room not enough? why did you specifically defy what i asked of you?" claude asked

athanasius gulped as he finally looked at claude "i did nothing wrong. you can't be upset for visiting my own sister." he replied

athanasia was now afraid of the man standing in front of them she quickly hid behind her brother as he did all the talking.

claude looked away "that child behind you is a curse that creature took away your mother..and you feel no anger?" he asked

"how could anyone feel anger or hate towards her?" athanasius said

claude widened his eyes as he saw the spitting image of the late late empress his wife and athanasius's birth mother eira in him

"ariella escort the prince back to his chambers we will deal with that matter later." claude said as he watched ariella bring him away from athanasia

he mouthed a 'i'm sorry' to her as he was forced to be moved away from her

now athanasia was left alone with claude without her brother to protect her.

"that face..i've seen it before." claude stated as he looked at her

athanasia gulped as she looked at him with fear

he has the same jeweled eyes as me.

claude was observing her longer as he bore his eyes into her face

"..yes was it that dancer from sidonna?" he said with annoyance

"you look like that wench." he said bluntly

claude reached his hand out "then again it doesn't matter where she came from."

"y-your majesty!" felix said

claude smiled with amusement as he placed one of his fingers under her chin "and i think i remember... what that wench named you."

"i believe it was athanasia." he said

athanasia felt her whole body grow cold her eyes shaking with fear her heart beating so loudly as he said that

"back then you were a tiny little bug who couldn't lift it's head." claude had said

he had bent down to her height "you've grown alot." he said

athanasia was still afraid.

then claude and felix had heard bags of jewels plop and roll on the ground.

claude took a glance before stepping on one and reaching over to grab athanasia

he then proceeded to lift her "you're heavy." he said

"you have really chubby cheeks but i didn't expect you to be this heavy." he pointed out

as athanasia grew offended.

"now..what were you doing in my palace?" claude asked as he had still been lifting her

a/n : im so sorry for being inactive for so long,, i thought i'd grow tired of writing but recently i just found the motivation to do it again hopefully it stays for awhile if not just a short while. i also apologize for the short chapter but i hope you enjoy the update :)
