(A/N - A bunch of rules and facts that may be important for the One-Shots ahead. This is NOT required, though would be nice to read through.
Worldbuilding and character details ahead.
This has been made after the first two One-Shots were published. Some rules written here may be explained in some of the one-shots. May update.)

On original title
To The Top

Rules of the land.
Realm details
There exist many known realms, but the story follows earth and the Eternal Tree. The eternal tree is split into two parts, the top is for the Reapers, while the roots are home to the Demons.
Earth is… well, earth.
Script Details
A Script can be any object that both can be written on, and is at least the size of a napkin.
More items can be tied to a Script even after creation, paper is the only object that can be used as a Script when not physically connected with the Script itself.
A human can be tied to one Demon at a time, but can see as many Demon's as allowed.
On creation
A Script is first created by a human, by drawing a summoning circle on it then leaving it hidden.
The object then falls from the sky in the Demon sector of the Eternal Tree, which can be used by a Demon to teleport to the realm it's from. (Leaving an unusable summoning circle where they teleported from.)
Now in that realm, the Demon can see the lifespan of humans around them, and will pick one of them to touch with the Script, tying them to that human.
After the tie is complete, the Demon can no longer touch it's Script, it forgets all the lifespans it saw earlier, and inherits any languages known to the human.
Once the human either dies or forfeits the services of the Demon, an impenetrable shell is placed around the Script which only the Demon can open. And the Demon is free to take it back to their realm.
On ability
Demons cannot travel to other realms without a Script. Even after taking one back to their realm, they need another if they want back to that realm.
A Script can only teleport a Demon to the realm it was forged in.
Writing in a Script can manipulate the looks, thoughts, and even personality of the Demon tied to it.
Writing in it can also say who can see the demon in its full form (See its wings and tail).
Contradicting orders nullify each other, all orders are nullified once the Demon's services end, or the human dies.
'Draining' is one command usable in the Script, this effectively lobotomizes the Demon, making them unable to successfully think nor feel emotion. Can be nullified by the above.
Many Demons take a piece off of a Script before touching a human with it. They often write orders made specifically to contradict orders such as 'Drain the Demon', and render them useless. Alternatively, a Demon under abusive leadership may use this page to drain themselves, or to even end their life.
Demon Details
Demons are meant to be servants to humans in a trade fashion.
When a demon ties to somebody, it loses the ability to touch its Script, leaving it vulnerable and under the human's control.
However, Demons have short lifespans, about 20 years or so. And that lifespan can only be increased by tying to a human, and after the human dies, or the Demon's services are forfeited, they gain a copy of that human's lifespan.
The same Demon cannot gain lifespan off the same human multiple times.
On ability - Wishes
Demons can grant wishes, one free wish for each Script owner.
Demons cannot create matter, they can only manipulate current matter.
Example - Demons cannot just summon a person into existence, nor alter the past, instead, they can reroute someone's current life to fit their needs.
Demons often don't know what the wish altered, though they can slightly sense it when they see it.
Two contradicting wishes from any party will nullify. If only partly contradicting, they will work around each other.
Wishes include death contracts, along with the human's main free wish, they also get 3 free death contracts, like the wish, these are optional use.
A Demon using a death contract on a human who currently has a Demon, will kill the Demon who signed off on the contract.
A Demon and human tied by a Script share both dreams and nightmares, they are often aware of dreaming due to the other being there.
On ability - Cloaking
While in a human realm, Demons can opt to uncloak, allowing even humans not written in the Script to see them.
However, all they can see/feel/hear are the human looks. The wings, tail, and (Sometimes) horns are all invisible to them, protecting the Demon from notice.
They can re-cloak at any time.
On looks
Demons look quite similar to humans, the only distinguishing factor being their wings, their heart-ended tail, and the rare possibility of having horns.
This is because they need to appeal to their ties, and because it makes uncloaking more useful.
