"I thought you would ditch me." Sunghoon said as he leaned against his motorcycle and pushed his slightly damp with sweat hair back to uncover his attractive face.
In the mean time, Sunoo was out of breath after running through the halls, ignoring all the teachers' complaints in order to get to the parking lot in a reasonable amount of time. His cheeks burning up for the nth time today.
However the run was worth the effort. The perspective on Sunghoon that Sunoo saw was breathtaking - his slicked back hair complimented his black silky button up and a fancy watch was wrapped around his wrist. It honestly made Sunoo feel out of place with his outfit.
"At least let me know where we're going beforehand, will you? You're dressed well while I'm still wearing my uniform."
"You look good. Get on already." Part of Sunoo knew he said that just so Sunoo wouldn't complain anymore, but it still made Sunoo's heart skip a beat. He timidly tucked his hair behind his ear to put on his helmet.
The ride was pleasant and the fresh air caressed the boys' hair. About twenty minutes later they arrived at the first destination. Despite all the places he had imagined in his head, he didn't think they would end up here.
A flower store.
The spot was not in the city, but rather in a little town, however the flower shop actually appeared to seem lively. At the entrance to the store, many colorful flowers were placed in small buckets of water. "Welcome to Blossom YOU," was written on a chalkboard, Sunoo noticed.
Ding, Ding!
The small bell rang - alarming the shop owner of a costumer - as Sunghoon opened the door and entered the small shop. An older lady at the checkout greeted them with a broad grin as she rose from the chair, startling the black cat on her lap.
The cat jumped over the register and landed on a counter, knocking over some cat decorations. "Aigo, my poor babies," the woman gasped dramatically, covering her mouth. "I'm sorry guys, Bomi must be happy to see handsome young men."Sunoo carefully picked up the cat and petted it in his arms, while the cat rubbed its head on his chest. "Sunoo, you should let go of the cat." Sunghoon said as he attempted to grab the kitten from Sunoo's hands, however Sunoo took a few steps back. "Sunoo, seriously." A couple more steps back. The two didn't quit bickering until Sunghoon accidentally tripped over the cat figurine that got knocked over and fell on Sunoo.
"Omo omo, are you okay?", This time the lady was even more worried and offered her hand to the boys.
"It was just a cat, Sunghoon." Said Sunoo, still laying under Sunghoon.
"I said that because you-"
"achoo!" "..have a cat allergy." Sunghoon said as he got back on his feet. With both his hands he wiped all the dust off his clothes before turning to the lady. "May I know where the bouquets are?"
Sunoo followed Sunghoon to the back of the store, after apologizing a few more times, when the scent of various flowers and a hint of old paper hit his nose.
"These sunflowers look so good, don't you think?" Sunoo murmured, putting his nose near the pollen to sniff it and shutting his eyes.
"We aren't shopping for you, Sunoo. So which one?" Sunoo took a glance at the two bouquets of flowers in Sunghoos hands. Honestly, Sunoo was expecting more than just two boring roses bouquets after standing in front of tons of beautiful flowers for the past 15 minutes. Sunghoon was probably even proud of his findings, but Sunoo didn't come all the way here so Sunghoon could choose roses.
"Orange flowers. How about some orange and pink tulips, Hoon. Simple but sweet. Don't you think they would be cuter with a gold ribbon though? And...." Sunghoon chuckled lightly at Sunoo's gestures, barely paying attention to Sunoo's yapping.
"Excuse me, I don't want to eavesdrop on you two, but it's a perfect flower for lovebirds like you two. A classic symbol of love."
The boys both turn their heads and saw the shop owner from before with a big smile on her face.
"Oh. No ma'am we're ju-"
"We would like to get the tulips please. Could you please put a gold ribbon around it too?"
After he finished his sentence - which surprised himself - Sunghoon felt a judgmental look from Sunoo. "What? It will just take us time to explain it to her, don't think anything weird," Sunghoon defended himself. Sunoo couldn't resist the opportunity to chuckle at Sunghoon. "Alright. I'll wait outside, hyung."
Ding, ding!
Sunghoon handed the woman the money and was going to make a way for leave the store when the woman called him back. "Ah, young man. Here's a plaster, I assume I saw your friend cut his finger earlier, while taking a look at the roses."
"Oh, thank you ma'am, I'll make sure to take care of him... Could I maybe get the Sunflo-"
Ding, ding!
"Where did you leave your motorcycle, hyung?"
"What?"
"Eh.. It's gone."
"WHAT."
