>>>Trafalgar Law: Surgeon of Death
Law woke up from a nightmare. Then cue the angst.
Every movement hurts like a bitch. His body feels like being brought down by rocks.
But he should expect this after doing the longest continuous shift he's ever done in his life.
36 hours of non-stop check-ups, surgeries, reports, and lectures
Law did not even expect to reach home in one piece.
Bepo, blessed his soul, had volunteered to drop Law home. He suggested to drop him at his own place, but Law wants to be alone for now. He promised to come visit soon anyway.
Law had disregarded all the things he had to do and collapsed face-first to his bed. He'll just take care of that after a restful sleep.
And the world surely hated Law because that sleep was anything but restful.
When he opened his eyes, he saw a forest. The forest where he went for solace because the village where his parents worked as missionary doctors has become so rowdy Law wants some quiet time so he can study his book about the history of surgery.
But when Law tried to open his book, it disappeared, and a loud explosion came from the village's direction, followed by gunshots.
When Law faced the village's direction, he saw his parents' lifeless bodies covered in blood.
"Mom! Dad!" Law called and ran up to their side.
"Lammy!" Law called for his younger sister. She should not have gone far. Where is she?
"Lammy!" He called again. Voice hoarse from shouting and crying. Why is this happening?
"Law!" Someone called. The voice was a stranger and familiar at the same time.
When Law turned in the direction of the voice, he saw two large men with fancy feathered coats and fancier sunglasses.
The one with the black-feathered coat crouched down and extended his arms; Law's body moved on its own and ran towards them. His gut told him that the man's arm was a safe place.
But when he was almost at arm's length, a gunshot was fired, and the man with the black-feathered coat fell down. The other man in a pink feathered coat roared in anger and aimed his gun at Law. Then he pulled the trigger.
"Torao!"
Law bolted awake.
Gasping for air, he clutches the arm wrapped around him.
"Shhhh..." the owner of the arm comforted him and handed him a bottle of water with his free hand.
"It's okay, I'm here." He said in a soft voice.
"Luffy-ya," Law called for his boyfriend.
"Yes, Torao, I'm here", Luffy assured him, rubbing his hand on his back in a soothing motion.
When Law finally calmed down, he turned his attention to his boyfriend. Yes, boyfriend, because this son of a bitch did fully recover within two months. They have been boyfriends now for almost a month and Luffy is now back to his training for his upcoming fight.
"What are you doing here?" Law asked accusing. Don't get him wrong, he's happy Luffy is here but he doesn't have a key to his house. How did he come in?
