Y/n walked into the kitchen seeing their girlfriend making something as she hummed happily, y/n smiled and snuck up behind her before wrapping their arms around her waist and resting their head on her shoulder.
Mary giggled at her lover as they hugged her from behind. "Hi sweetheart." Mary whispered softly turning around and placing a kiss on their forehead. "Hi love.." y/n said softly as they hugged Mary again resting their head under her neck this time. Mary smiled warmly as she wrapped her arms around them pulling them close, it was clear to her that they needed attention and just to be held so that's what she did.
After a few minutes y/n whispered softly. "What you making?.." mary smiled. "Cookies." She said softly watching as y/n eyes lit up. "Your cookies???" They asked with an excited smile. "Yep my cookies." Mary said with a soft smile as she watched her lovers excitement, it was no secret that she adored her lover and this moment just showed how much she did.
Mary softly cupped y/n's cheeks in her hand as she gently made them look at her, mary placed another kiss to their forehead and then one to their lips. Y/n smiled though the kiss as they softly wrapped their arms back around their girlfriend. After the two pulled away y/n smile only grew as they hugged mary tightly yet gently, they didn't plan on letting go any time soon.
"I love you..." y/n softly whispered as they placed a loving kiss to her shoulder. Mary giggled softly and hugged her lover and whispered in return.
"I love you too, baby."
