Sulking. An impactful expression that screams your displeasure in silence. It gives an impression of doing a lot without doing anything. And the satisfaction one gets when they feel that others are getting affected when they have done absolutely nothing on their end, is worthwhile over the risk of ending up as a prey to their frustration.
Meher was literally a pro in sulking. She was sulking for the 49th time this week. Rishi who was passing through the living room took one glance at her and knew that another drama was about to unfold. And he won't admit it but he was looking forward to it because it meant only one thing for him. ENTERTAINMENT.
"What now, Lil missy?" he asked sitting next to her.
"What is it with you Raichand brothers always giving me silly nicknames!?" she asked irritatedly.
"Oh you don't know? That's our favourite pass time activity. Though we have been considering making a career out of it." he teased.
She gave him an angry glare and felt another wave of sulk taking over her followed by an angry pout.
She looked so adorable that Rishi couldn't help but pull her cheeks. Their equation had greatly changed in the past few week. Those study sessions have helped them bond but they still had a long way to go.
"Accha bata ab kya Kiya tere Vanz ne?"
"Woh mujhe apne saath movie nahi dekhne de rahe." she whined. Mission accomplished! she thought. Now Vanz will get scolded over not involving her and then she could watch the movie whose visuals looked so enthralling.
Rishi frowned. It was so unlike Vansh to not involve her in anything he did. He literally dragged her everywhere he went.....with the exception of a few places where a person needed absolute privacy.
"Vanu" he called out with mock anger.
Vansh who had been pretending to watch the movie since the moment his Bhaiyu entered took of his airpods and looked irritatedly at his Bhaiyu.
Rishi glared at him and he immediately wept the look off his face.
"Usse kyu nahi dikha raha? Abhi Bhaiya ko bataunga toh grounding me Jo 1 movie dekhne ki privellege mili hai woh bhi chali jaayegi." he scolded.
"Aree par--"
"Aur pata hai mujhse rudely baat karke mereko dhakka deke bhagaya." Meher added fuel to the fire.
Rishi's glare intensified while Meher showed Vanu her tongue.
Vansh's eyes widened. How could she so easily throw him under the bus. He barely touched her. That wouldn't even have qualified as a push.
"Bhaiyu, I swear yeh jhut bol rahi hai. Bilkul bharosa mat kro iska."
Rishi looked at Meher who immediately schooled her expressions but Rishi didn't miss the action.
He was supposed to get entertained not himself get dragged between the fighting kids. That was his Bhaiya's department. Where was he?
As if on cue, Arjun entered with his coffee. Rishi thanked his lucky stars.
"Dekho Bhaiya yeh dono dobara lad rahe hai." he whined.
Arjun threw him a disgusted look. Why his brother insisted to act like a 10 year old was beyond him.
Meher turned to Arjun.
"Vanz mujhe movie nahi dikha rahe!" she complained with a sad look.
"Aur kyu nahi dikha rahe tere Vanz tujhe movie?" Arjun asked her.
