Riza's POV
"Ate!" Rinig kong tawag sa akin ni Heidi ang kapatid ko. Pagtingin ko sa kaniya ay nawala ang aking ngiti dahil hila-hila niya si Jasmine. I am here at the hospital since we don't have class because it is Saturday.
"Why are you with her Heidi?" I asked her. Lumuhod ako para magka-level kaming dalawa ni Heidi.
"Ate she is the one, I am telling you who saved me." Sagot niya habang nakangiti.
"Is that so?" I asked my little sister and smiled at her. Tumayo ako at tumingin kay Jasmine na siyang napatingin din sa akin.
"Thank you for saving my sister in that incident." I said. I really feel bad to myself.
"Wala iyon." Sagot niya at ngumiti.
"Ate can we have some snacks?" Heidi asked.
"Sure." Sagot ko sa kaniya at ngumiti.
"Ate sama ka sa amin." Aya ni Heidi at hinawakan sa kamay si Jasmine.
"No it's fine for me. You can have your snack time with your ate Riza." Sagot ni Jasmine sabay yuko at tapikin ng marahan ang balikat ni Heidi habang nakangiti.
"Turo ni ma'am mas masaya kapag sama-sama." Sabi ni Heidi. "Sama ka na ate."
"You can come with us Jasmine." Sabi ko kay Jasmine.
"Okay." Sagot niya at ngumiti. What's with this girl? She's smiling like nothing bad happened between us. I remembered what Tita Amelia said about Jasmine when we were in their anniversary. The painful past of Jasmine, the reason why she was triggered when I mentioned about her mom. I felt guilt that night.
"Where do you want to eat?" I asked the both of them.
"Where do you want to eat Heidi?" Jasmine asked.
"Can we have some sweets?" Heidi answered while smiling.
"Sweets hmm?" I said while thinking of other places to eat.
"I know a place where we can eat." Nakangiting sabi ni Jasmine.
"Where?" I asked her.
"Tara na baba na kayo." Masayang sabi ni Jasmine. We used her car papunta sa lugar kung saan kami kakain, since tatlo lang naman kami also sasabay kami kay mama mamaya.
"Cloud Cafe." Basa ko sa cafe na nasa harapan ko.
"Good day Jasmine." Masayang bati ng babaeng kulot ang buhok na nagbabantay sa may counter.
"Hey Lilly!" Bati ni Jasmine pabalik. I think she is a regular customer here.
"Looks like you're with some unfamiliar people. Mostly kasama mo sila Adrian, your father's assistant and that hawty man." Sabi ni Lilly at napatingin sa amin ni Heidi.
"Scratch that hawty Lilly." Sabi ni Jasmine and rolled her eyes.
"I'm just kidding! Nagpupustahan na nga kami." Sagot ni Lilly at tumawa.
"You're not going to win, by the way I want you to meet my friends." Sabi ni Jasmine. Friends?
"This is Riza my classmate and this cute little angel is her younger sister Heidi." Pagpapakilala sa amin ni Jasmine.
"Hey Riza and Heidi." Bati sa amin ni Lilly at ngumiti.
"So what's your order?" She asked.
"Ano gusto niyo?" Jasmine asked.
"What do you like Heidi?" I asked my sister.
"I want chocolate cake and waffles." Sagot niya.
"Noted dear." Sagot ni Lilly habang nakangiti.
