It was a peaceful night at the outskirts of Gotham City, with pine trees going up through the woods and green grass continued up to a hill. Over the hill stood a satellite monitoring center that was under control of Star Labs. Within the monitor station, a few scientist and military personnel were monitoring the various scientific instruments. All were unaware of a dark shadow coming from a skylight and then dissapeared within the dark cieling. A younger scientist with blonde hair stood up and he stretched, "Alright, going to the game tonight. Anyone want to join in?" he asked the others.

A few soldiers nodded their heads at the offer since they were about to head out as well. Only three scientists stayed behind to continue their work, "Sorry James but we will stay behind and monitor the system to make sure no cascade failure happens," a elderly gentleman with white hair and a white mustache stated.

The blonde haired man just chuckled and nodded, "Alright guys, goodnight," he said as he left with the soldiers following behind them. The elderly scientist looked at a large African American woman and a skinny Asian looked at the other. They all nodded at each other as the three of them stood up and went to one of the panels on the wall. The elderly man grabbed the panel and then ripped it away, showing the black concrete wall.

The Asian would go and grabbed the wall, ripping a part of it out showing a silver and black alien contraption. The woman pulled it out and the center gem glowed red as she spoke in a unknown language to the others. The elderly man set the panel down and would then walk with the three of them out. They shut off the lights and a dark shadow of a bat came into view from the light of the skylight.

The three of them were on the satellite dish as the woman approached the center where there was a grate that went into the mechanics of the building. The woman placed it down as the tech would start to break apart and went into the grate. Then a small metal batarang went passed them and sunk into the side of the grate, getting stuck in there as the three turned around. They saw Batman standing before them but with a dark grey paneled suit, a gold utility belt, and a silver metal piece covering the mouth. "Pretty sure that upgrade is illegal," he spoke in his usual dark voice before throwing a bat bolas at the two men.

The men were trapped causing the Dark Knight to kick them back before jumping over them to the woman. She went to punch him but he dodged for a return uppercut, she only stepped back to look at him. She would then throw another punch before delivering a quick gut punch with her right hand. Batman grunted before getting an uppercut delivered to his cowl, he was sent flying before he landed on his stomach against one of the metal pillars on the Satelite dish. Batman looked up to see the two men quickly shifted to a different shape as the bollas would drop off of them.

Batman narrowed his eyes as he got up and looked at the three "people". He put his hands up in a defensive stance as the three would go and attack him. He threw a smoke pellet down and then punched the woman in the face before kicking the elderly man to the gut. The Asian grabbed Batman by the neck and threw him away, but the Dark Knight pulled his grapple out and fired it at the beam. He swung down and back up as the smoke cleared, landed behind them with his cape flowing in the wind. The Asian turned around and reached inside his body as his chest just churned as if he was liquid, he pulled out a alien weapon and fired at the Caped Crusader.

Batman went down as he dodged the laser fire and threw a batarang at the hand of the Asian. The batarang hit and caused the weapon to fly off, the three turned and ran away. Batman gave chase until the woman pulled out a alien device and pressed the button causing a hum to go throughout the base. Batman stopped to look at the center of the dish before he would jump off and used his cape to try to glide away. However, the force of the explosion caused Batman to get launched to the ground as the building went up in flames.
