Episode 3 : The Promening Part 2

Within the bathroom of Doll's home, Uzi is finishing putting the last touches to her outfit: a black dress that drops down to her knees, identically colored gloves that stop just under her elbows, and her iconic beanie. Setting up her hair, she examines her clothes before the absolute solver symbol replaces her left optic, causing her to hurriedly cover it with her hand before looking at her reflection in annoyance, "Easy Robo-satan, not this mirror." Slowly taking her hand away, she sees her eye has returned to normal.

Moving her hand back and forth over her eye, she's eventually satisfied that the optic isn't changing and goes back to looking at herself, but suddenly, the symbol returns and breaks the mirror. Panicking, Uzi gets on the sink counter and tries keeping the glass in place while shushing it, not wanting her hosts to hear; however, she ends up being the one to overhear something. Listening carefully, she detects Lizzy's voice, and what she says is quite concerning, "Dude, no one will notice SHE'S missing. Just do your thing, and I'll let in V. We'll see you there."

Confused and freaked out, Uzi silently backs up, "What the-" Before she can finish that thought, she hears something dripping in the bathtub, its curtain drawn, hiding whatever's behind it. Looking to the door to make sure no one's coming, she creeps over to the source, and with some hesitancy, pulls the curtain back, and lets out a horrified gasp at the sight that greets her.

Whilst this is going on, N's body twitches inside the pod as his head regenerates before he sits up screaming. Momentarily hyperventilating, he looks at the skeletons next to him. As soon as he sees one of them is bare, he immediately knows what V did, sending him into a panic as he sprints to the entrance, "Oh no, oh no, oh no!"

Just as he's about to leave, N stops and looks back to the other skeleton before shaking his head, and starts climbing the ladder, but once again pauses to observe the suit, "No! No time!" He then goes up the rest of the way; before peaking back in, "Dapper N..."

While N battles the urge to wear the suit, V and (Y/N) chase each other as they dart between the destroyed buildings. Twisting through the air, it's clear that the murder drone has an advantage over her ravager drone pursuer, as she easily outmaneuvers him with her tight turn around a skyscraper.

As (Y/N) tries to make the turn, he slams hard into the adjacent building, the sound prompting V to hesitantly slow down and look back, searching for any signs of the android in the cloud of snow, jagged rubble, and shattered glass. It's obvious that it's a bad crash, and she ultimately can't help herself and goes back to get a better view, "Come on." Before she can move any closer, (Y/N) bursts through the hole he created, and though he has a shaky start when leaping out, he soon gains balance and heads straight for the disassembly drone.

"I'm not done with you yet V!" Seeing and hearing (Y/N)'s anger, the murder drone turns back as the chase resumes, though now the ravager drone has a headstart, with his larger wings letting him close in at a surprising speed. Realizing his model is faster than her own in a straight line, the disassembly drone dives, causing (Y/N) to overshoot her and have to turn around, buying her time to gain some distance, all the while mumbling to herself, "I hate admitting it, but he's not that bad for someone who just learned to fly."

Soon enough, (Y/N) has completed the turn and is once again tailing V; she tries throwing him off with the same tactic as before, but this time he's ready, quickly tucking in his wings to follow her, much to her frustration, "Oh come on!" Opening his appendages a few meters above the ground, the ravager drone once again starts gaining on the disassembly drone, the powerful beats of his wings pushing away the snow beneath him, "You're gonna have to try harder than that V; I'm not falling for the same trick twice!"
