While Alyssa was cycling back home all she could think about was bumping into Jack and seeing him smile and watching how polite he was.
She'd always been so obsessed with what his drawings were of and now she finely knew. They were of random people doing random things. But she was one if those 'random' people. She didn't want to confront him about it but she wanted to know why he drew her and all those other people.
Alyssa opened her front door and sat down on her couch. Luna, her kitten, jumped up into her lap and gave her a warm welcome home. Alyssa patted Luna until her soft purrs became small snores. Maybe the reason why Jack was so quite was because he didn't want Alyssa to know about what he drew or wrote. Maybe he was ashamed. Maybe she was the only person who saw his work, against his will. Or maybe he left it there on purpose. She knew it sounded unlikely but everything that happened today was out of the ordinary. Alyssa knew she should try and get closer to him to find out. She wanted to be his friend and from what she could tell he wanted to too.
The overthinking clogged her head up so Alyssa grabbed her camera and went out for a ride around the city on her bike.Alyssa went to her favorite spot in the whole city. She went to the Brooklyn bridge. She cycled up and down the bridge million of times before but each time was like no other. Each day, each sunrise and sunset could not match another she had seen even a day before. Each cloud and rain drop was different and unique as was all of her photos she took. She couldn't help but snap anything that caught her eye, it helped her relax and get away from reality for a bit. After the Brooklyn bridge Alyssa went to her favorite one dollar pizza place. She ordered her usual and sat and ate outside before cycling to her next perfect photo stop. Alyssa had explored this city many times but each day something new appeared, wether it was a new shop, a new face, or a new tourist site Alyssa was fascinated by all of it.
After hours of snapping the photos she wanted Alyssa finally went home and fell asleep with her kitten awaiting for a new day to come.
