Season two, chapter fifty-four
"Hey y'all
I got a dumb idea"THEA SQUEEZED HER hands on the table, the man in the yellow hoodie possessed an unimaginable strength, his-fast lightning reflexes left her and Hana utterly defenseless. The chilling memory of those fateful hours sent shivers down her spine, and as she relives the harrowing ordeal, she still feels the lingering tension in her muscles.
"He was fast and definitely much stronger than he looked" Mun began to explain. Each person eagerly listened, ensconced in their wooden chairs, as agreement echoed through their nods "This must mean the other two are in Korea as well, right?"
"I'd say it's highly likely" Jangmul responded nodding his head, as his striking lips remained once again firmly sealed
"He'll avoid the territory from now on since that's how he met us. It's going to be harder to catch them" Ms. Chu added, her countenance brimming with wisdom. Her piercing gaze, avoiding direct contact, allows her profound insights to simmer
"My wrath is overflowing" Jeok-bong exclaimed confidently getting up from his seat "Take me with you next time. I'm going to break the bastard's wrists for what he did..." With resilience in his bones, he resolutely returns to the humble wooden chair
"Your wrath? It's overflowing? Do you have to talk like that?" Mo-tak's frustration was palpable as he glanced around the room. The air was heavy with annoyance, and it seemed like nobody had the patience for Jeok-bong's flamboyant performance
"Ms. So wasn't the only victim I saw in his memories" Hana explained drawing the group's attention back to her
"What do you mean?" Ms. Chu asked with a frown
"I also saw Min-ji. He definitely met her" Hana revealed while Thea finds herself entangled in a web of confusion, her inquisitive mind piecing together the elusive puzzle right before our eyes
"Ms. Lee?" Mun asked with a frown, just as confused as everyone else "But why?"
"It was a vague memory. However, it was definitely her. And she was pleading for her life" Hana continued to explain as Thea, the silent observer, unearths the hidden truths
"What?"
"She was begging him to spare her?" Ms. Chu asked in surprise, standing up from her seat as Hana nodded "Didn't the police point out her killer? They even had the CCTV footage"
"Yes, you're right" Mo-tak agreed, standing up from his seat with his eyes wide open
"Didn't they say that crook woke up?" Mun questioned shaking his head in disbelief
Thea bit her lower lip, if her suspicions were true she would not hesitate to put an end to those evil spirits herself, with her own bare hands.
