Wednesday POV:

Since Y/N hasn't come back to the dorm at all tonight, Enid has been calling and texting her for a while. None of them are being answered or read. So, she has begun to panic and now she's acting like a child, which seems to be a common theme with the young werewolf. I don't understand why she is so bothered by Y/N's sudden absence anyway. I find it quite refreshing. The girl is utterly infuriating, I cannot stand her. Enid has now decided Y/N is in some form of danger and is insisting on finding and helping her so we're now going to go find Principal Weems since Enid is certain that she's the best way to find and help Y/N. I, as always, think she's foolish.

We arrive at Principal Weems office, and Enid rushes inside. I follow behind her, with much less determination, or care for the cause. Principal Weems looks up at Enid as she bursts in with a look of concern clouding her face.

"I think Y/N is in trouble, she left to go on a walk over 7 hours ago to 'clear her head' and she still hasn't come back," Enid rambles. "This isn't like her at all, if she was staying out for the night, she would've at least texted me. I've also texted and called her relentlessly for about half an hour and I've gotten no response."

Weems sits in silence for a moment. "Right, this doesn't sound very good, let's go find her then," She says.

She then stands up from her desk and advances towards the door of her office and goes straight out of it, Enid following hurriedly. I stroll behind the both of them.

"Where would she have gone?" Weems asks Enid.

"Whenever she goes on her walks, she always goes into the forest, she says it's where she feels the most relaxed and at home."

Weems nods, and heads in the direction of the forest, picking up the pace even more, beginning to break into a light run. I begin to speed up slightly, not wanting to miss anything as if Y/N is actually in any sort of danger, I could maybe use it as source material for my book. We quickly reach the edge of the forest and begin to blindly walk into it. As we get further into the forest, I begin to realise why Y/N finds it so relaxing. The white noise really was quite nice. We keep walking for a little while longer. Until we suddenly hear an ungodly, ear piercing screech unlike anything known to man kind. We all stop, and exchange a fleeting glance. Enid breaks into a sprint and runs straight towards the sound, seeming to have come from an extremely dangerous creature. I quickly follow her, with Weems following close behind me. I catch up to Enid, as she fully stops. Then she darts forwards again and falls to her knees in front of something. I turn into the opening that Enid ran into and stop at the sight of Y/N torn apart. Her blood is splattered over everything in sight, nothing is left uncovered, like something straight out of a horror movie. She lays lifeless on the forest floor, with Enid sobbing over her body. I feel Weems' presence as she arrives behind me, and is met with the horrific sight I'm yet to fully process. She runs forward to pull Enid off of Y/N's body and tries to get me and Enid out of the way, but she stays with Y/N. She seems to want to stop us from seeing the scene, but it's already permanently burnt into my memory. I take a sobbing, dishevelled Enid out of the forest and walk her back to our dorm. She just lays on Y/N's bed shaking and crying. I stand in the middle of the room, feeling useless, so I sit at my desk, and begin to write. The rhythmic clacking of the keys helps my mind settle from the sight of the night. After a while, I finally hear Enid's sobs subside, as she falls asleep surrounded by Y/N's things. As the sun begins to come up, I hear a knock at the door, and walk over to answer it, careful to not wake up Enid, as I can't stand to hear her sobs anymore.

When I open it, I'm met with Principal Weems stood there, with an oddly bright expression given the events of last night.

"I took Y/N to the medical wing last night, and because of how recently the attack had happened, they quickly stitched up all the wounds they could, and resuscitated her, and once her heart was beating again, her magic has been helping to sustain her and keep her alive," She says quickly.

I feel oddly relieved at this news. Sure I don't like the girl, but, I don't know there's something about her that makes me glad she isn't dead. I just think I enjoy having someone to dislike. Yes, that's it.

"So, after the brutal murder scene from last night," I start to say, trying to wrap my head around it. "She survived?" I finish.

"Yes, it truly is a miracle," Weems says a smile settling on her face. "However, she obviously isn't awake yet and she has a very long recovery ahead of her, but she's alive, and that's the most important thing."

I nod, then turn to wake Enid, knowing she really needs to hear the news. I walk over to Enid, who's curled up into a ball on Y/N's bed, with a tear stained face. I say her name a few times. She finally begins to stir awake.

"Y/N's alive," I say flatly.

This quickly wakes her up, as she sits upright in the bed and looks between me and Principal Weems who has walked fully into the dorm now.

"What?" She asks, wide eyed.

Weems then proceeds to explain what she had told me, Enid's eyes light up as she hears the news. She then stands straight up out of the bed, and I notice her clothes are covered in Y/N's blood. She rushes out of the room, and in the direction of the medical wing. Weems quickly follows her, and I do too, still in disbelief that Y/N somehow survived all of that. When I reach the room, I see the door is already open from Enid and Weems entering before me. I walk in and there lays Y/N, alive, but she's still a bloody mess. Enid is sat in a chair at her bedside, holding her hand, and Weems is in the middle of excusing herself and leaving. I walk over to Enid, and sit in the chair on the other side of Y/N. Enid looks up at me and smiles.

"Thank you," She says. "For being there last night."
