"What?", I groan into my phone after I picked it up from the night-stand.
"Well goodmorning to you too", Violet spoke. I steady my phone in front of my face to the check the time.
"What?", I groaned once again. "Violet? Unless you don't have a watch... It's 6 a.m".
"I know! I couldn't sleep.. So I thought I might call you and check if you're okay".
"There is a salad and a bucket of icecream in my fridge, just ask if you want food", I told her, but she clicked her tongue on the roof of her mouth, through the phone.
"No!", she said: "I wanted to know if Calum called yet!", she excitedly asked.
"No...", I reply while sitting up straight. It's been a good 24 hours that Calum hadn't let anything hear from him. It already suprised me that he asked for my number in the first place, but not calling was even more weird.
"He's a busy guy! He has phone calls every 5 minutes, so I think he'll eventually call you", Violet assured me, like she could read my mind.
She was right.
"Yeah", I sighed.
"Let me know if he called and don't you dare to keep it to yourself!", she exclaimed.
"Bye, Violet", I said before I could hang up on her.
I put my phone back on my night-stand and rest my head on my pillow with my gaze on the roof. Waiting for someome famous to call you back is way more nerve wracking than you think. And it can make you hungry sometimes.
I didn't leave my phone alone the minute Calum asked for my number. I had to charge it all the time, because I kept turning it off and on again. The batteries these days.
My face fell immediatly when I could feel the vibrations of my phone all the way from the night-stand. It was a quick one, but I grabbed my phone like I just dropped it. My heart pounding against my chest when I look at my notifications.
Anomymous:
Goodmorning!
Charlie
Uhh... Hi
Anonymous:
I'm sorry I didn't call you sooner, but I was very tired so I fell asleep.
A quiet squeal left my lips.
Charlie:
Uhh... Who is this?
My fingers quickly slide over my keyboard and soon I found myself jumping around.
Anonymous:
What?! Charlie it's me! Skylar :-)
I sighed loudly.
Charlie:
Sky ??? Why is your number unknown?
Anonymous:
I told you! I got a new phone yesterday and I said I would text you as soon as I got it!
Charlie:
Oh my god, Sky!!
Anonymous:
What!?? What did I do wrong?
Charlie:
I thought it was Calum! He hasn't called yet!!!!
Anonymous:
Really? I thought he already called you by now!
Charlie:
Do me a favor! The next time you get a new phone? You first tell me your name and then you say goodmorning, promise?
Anonymous:
Fine! Hi, It's me Skylar :-) got a new phone, add me !!
Charlie:
Good!
Anonymous:
Morning :D
Charlie:
I can't believe you're my friend
Anonymous:
I do!! Yuuuu luvvv mehh
Charlie:
Oh my god, I'm gonna go now!
I put my phone to the side while sighing loudly. Skylar always knew how to scare me, even when she wasn't trying. And once again she almost made me faint by just a goodmorning text.
My phone buzzed again.
Anonymous:
Sorry I didn't call you sooner!!
Charlie:
It's okay, Sky! Why did you wanted to call me anyway?
Anonymous:
Well... You gave me your number :-)
Charlie:
Very Punny
Anonymous:
Aww thanks ! I am pretty funny
Charlie:
No, seriously! Why did you want to call?
Anonymous:
No, seriously! You gave me your number
Charlie:
Skylar ....come on! Please stop playing
Anonymous:
No! I'm serious! You gave me your number... Well actually you gave your number to Calum and and he gave it to me :-)
I sat up straight and opened my mouth widely.
Charlie:
Skylar??? If it's you and you are making a joke... You can expect me to never look at you again!
Anonymous:
I don't know who Skylar is, but I am not her... Him... It?
Charlie:
Oh my god! Michael? Ashton? Luke?
Anonymous:
Maybe....
I jump off of my bed and make little bird movements. Excuse my weirdness. I couldn't scream, because it was really early in the morning... And I had pretty thin walls. I couldn't jump either, because I would break through the floor.
Charlie:
Who are you?? Omfg
Charlie:
How do I even know it's one of 5SOS?? What if you are just a creepy stalker?
Charlie:
Helluu? Anybody there?
My voice hitched shut. I couldn't believe this! If it was one of the 5SOS boys, I drove him away!! I am the only dumb person to pull that off... Oh my god I am so stupid!
My thoughts got cutt off by my phone buzzing in my hand. I slowly turn the screen towards my direction. Somebody was calling me. And I'm guessing it was one of the 5SOS boys... Or a creepy stalker. I look at the number with the usual "Unknown" written above it. When I swiped the green button over my screen... The call actually started.
"Hello?", I whispered.
"I finally found you, sunshine".
