The Talk

Alec's P.O.V

"What did I do?" I ask Mimi. I look into her crystal blue eyes.

"Y-you helped them. Helped them worth stupid drama," she replies. She looks at my confused face. "Oh, she didn't tell you, did she?"

"Who didn't tell me what!?" I yell. "What's this little secret that you're keeping from me?"

"She asleep?" I hear from above.

"If you are talking about Molly, she is asleep," I reply to the voice.

"Finally," she says. I look at Mimi. She shrugs like she doesn't know either. I know she knows though. She scoots a bit away from me. Icy falls on me.

"Ow!" I say.

"Sorry," Icy tells me with a smile. Then, she looks at Mimi. "You helped them. How could you?"

"We weren't thinking strait, Icy. I am so sorry. I-I guess I wasn't thinking about them at the time. I'm sorry," Mimi says.

"That doesn't help matters. Do you know what he's gonna do now? Now he knows that you know about it. Do you know what he'll do to my dad? I bet he thinks that it's his fault that I know. How could you?" Icy is really mad now.

"I'm sorry Icy," Mimi says. "I-I didn't think he'd do anything to Ha- I mean your dad." Icy looks like she could punch Mimi, but soon calms down.

"Oh, ok," Icy says. She sighs. "Poor Daddy," she mutters.

"Icy, who is your dad?" I ask. She looks like she just got punched in the gut.

"Um...," she says, looking at Mimi. Mimi shakes her head no. "No one," she says finally.

"Icy," I say seriously. "Who is he?"

Icy sighs. "H-Hades," she mutters. I barely hear her, but I did hear what she said.

"Oh," I say, surprised. She has broken down in tears. "Oh no, she's waking up!" Icy takes off, back into the woods. It starts raining, so we take cover under a large tree.

"She left because of Molly," Mimi says quickly as Molly runs to the tree with us.
