The Truth Hurts

Chapter 1: One Thing After Another

Dana Elizabeth-Lynn Brown has a 3.9 gpa and loves math. She is the best student any teacher could have. She has long brown hair, is 5 feet tall, and is the smartest student in her class. Her teacher, Mrs.Wilson, always lets her do her errands during class.

Every student didn't like Dana very much, she was always Mrs. Wilson's favorite. So one time Mrs. Wilson asked Dana to go get some more tissues. Dana got up and walked out the door with the hall pass. As she walked out, these two guys were following her. She didn't think anything of it, until she got to the end of the hallway that doesn't have any camera's. The two boys grabbed each side of her, and started punching her. She couldn't do anything, the boys were holding her down as they punched her. One of the boys weren't as strong as the other, so when he got on top of her she threw him as far as she could, then ran. The other boy caught up to her and punched her so hard she passed out.

The next few hours were a blur to her. She woke up in the counselor's office. Mrs. Shelton asked Dana if she was okay and if she was ready to answer some questions.

Dana didn't want to talk about it at all, but she had to. She thought if she told, then the boys would do it again. She told the counselor that she can't talk about it. Mrs. Shelton didn't understand, but let Dana go home.

While Dana was walking home she noticed two people following her. She wondered if it was the two boys again. It can't be the two boys, school isnt over yet. She watched them closely. They were both wearing a black hoodie to cover their face. One had a scar on his face like something had happened to him. The other was wearing a ski mask, so u couldn't see his face at all.

Her mother wasn't home today nor her father. She would be all alone for about four hours. When she reached her house the boys slowly approached her. She ran inside quickly. As she was trying to lock the door the two guys busted in. She ran into another room, locking it. The boys knocked it down too.

The boys grabbed her and tryed to take her clothes off. She was fighting them and kicking them as they tryed. And then all of a sudden, someone walks in the room and picks up the boys and threw them across the room. It was Jake, Dana's neighbor and crush. He was a very strong boy and the same age as Dana, 16.
