For centuries, (Since 1234 to be exact), Nephilim have guarded the earth against downworlders, safeguarding their own species while occasionally looking out for the safety of mundanes. It has been three years since the death of Sebastian Morgenstern and for Isabelle Lightwood, Alec Lightwood, Jace Herondale, Magnus Bane, Clary Fairchild and Simon Lewis, things are finally going back to normal.
However, there are myths that have begun to spread, myths that there are children with godly blood in their veins, demigods.
Annabeth Chase, Piper McLean, Jason Grace, Percy Jackson, Calypso and Leo Valdez have been relaxing since the war except for the occasional monster skirmish. Every once and awhile, they hear stories of people, people around the world that are half human, half-angel, marked all over with black runes the color of night.
Nephilim.
There are whispers of a new enemy, an enemy so powerful that to even have a chance at stopping it would require both the blood of the gods and the blood of the angels.
If humanity is to survive, Nephilim and Demigod must work together to protect the Earth.
They must become it's guardians.
