Hidden Meaning in All Summer in a Day
One of the hidden meanings in "All Summer in a Day" would be to be nice to
people. What you could do to someone could aect your life and theirs. Whether it's good or bad, it'll have an impact on you and the other person. For example, if you were or had a toxic friend, it will aect your life and the other person's life. Another one is do not disrespect anyone. "'All a joke!' said the boy, and seized her roughly. 'Hey, everyone, let's put her in a closet before teacher comes!'" (Bradbury 72). This line in the story shows disrespect to another person, and it also shows these kids have no integrity. Another example of a hidden meaning within the story could be: don't believe that everyone is lying, they could be telling the truth a lot of the time. A good example of this theme would be: "The sun came out" (Bradbury 72). The kids figure out that Margot, in fact, wasn't lying when she said that the sun was going to come out. They figured out that she was right, but never got to see the sun because they had locked her in that closet. The themes that were in the story were key ones that could help in real life someday.
