Ruby told Eddie, "Holding anger is a poison. It eats you from inside. We think that hating is a weapon that attacks the person who harmed us. But hatred is a curved blade. And the harm we do, we do to ourselves." By this, she means anger is an emotion not many people want to have. It eats up the person with the anger by the person taking it out on someone else. Anger is like a poison when you start getting angry at everything and everyone without meaning to actually get mad at them. Being angry can hurt you in a way. Sometimes, friendships can end in anger. Relationships can end with anger. Then you're always mad at that person or people and you never actually get into a better relationship with them.
