Yuru got used to his new life rather quickly, or at least he did for the first few days: waking up, reading some books that man Baizhu would lent him, eat the food he would bring him, read again, have dinner and sleep. This monotonous routine went on for four days, until finally, on the fifth day, Baizhu determined his body was sufficiently healed and informed him he could move around, albeit with great care. Yuru didn't waste a single second and right after the pharmacist left, he dressed up and finally touched grass after what he felt as an eternity. He started by exploring the geneeral location Bubu Pharmacy was in: the (apparently, at least based on Baizhu's opinion) renowned pharmacy stood proud on top of a cliff , with a large mountain range behind it and a deep blue sea surrounding it by all sides, with only a handful of carefully constructed wood bridges being placed to allow clients and workers alike to reach the base of the structure, only to then be met by a giant set of stone stairs, which in Yuru's opinion, would make any seriously sick patients die before even being able to reach the actual building. Despite these factors, the otherworlder had to admit it made for quite the impressive and breathtaking sight. However, he had still to explore further and visit the actual city, Liyue. He didn't know why, but he was actually looking forward to it. Funny, as in his previous life he wasn't particularly fond of sightseeing. Anyways, he had decided he wouldn't visit that place until he had fully healed, but the wait was proving to be much more difficult than he originally thought it would be

'Maybe it's just raw curiosity about this world that's making me eager to visit this Liyue. Yes, it's probably that. What other explanation could there be?' He thought to himself while exploring the same area for the 5th time already.

On another note, all those books he had borrowed from Baizhu these last four days didn't just serve to kill time: Yuru had extensively dedicated his resting stay to study all about the world of Teyvat, and sure enough, the study session paid off, as he now had at least some knowledge about it:

Teyvat was a rather small continent, at least when compared to the ones from Earth, but more than made up for it with its vast and diverse ecosystems, distributed across the seven nations that formed the land: from the relaxing and calming winds present in Mondstadt all the way to the never-ending lightning storms in Inazuma, from the frozen lands of Snezhnaya to the scorching grounds of Natlan, Teyvat showed quite the unique disposition when it came to environmental variety, something that would've been impossible on Yuru's previous world, which was the reason for his interest on the topic. Perhaps this new land didn't follow the same geographical rules? Was there any supernatural factor affecting the weather?

Speaking of supernatural (which is a word Yuru was sure he had never used and would probably never have made use of in his previous world), the new inhabitant of Teyvat found himself dumbfounded after learning about Visions and the Seven Elements:

The first time Baizhu came to vvisit him during his recovery phase, The outlander couldn't help but notice the green glowing gem the pharmacist had attached to his belt at all times, which depicted a symbol of a heart with leaves growing out of it. Curious about the jewel, he asked the green-haired man about it, expecting it to be a family treasure or relic related to medicine in some way at most. What he instead got was the revelation that in this world some people "acknowledged by the gods" were able to wield the natural elements through the use of these kind of gems, which were called Visions. Baizhu explained to him that these were given to some people in the moment of their lives that their respective ambitions shined the brightest, and served as a validation of their wills and desires.

Visions were indestructible, at least through normal means, and the only way they would stop working was if the user of the Vision died or it was taken far away from the user's body. But even in some very rare occasions a deactivated Vision could be awakened by the will of another person, hence becoming its new user, which made the precious objects far more complex and difficult to study. What was clear though, was that these relics were unbelievably precious to the people from this world, as they served not only as a reminder that the gods (which Yuru had not many reasons to question their existence like he used to do, given what had happened to him) were watching over them, but also as an extremely useful item for both combat and life in all of its aspects, as Teyvat was a rather primitive world when it came to technology compared to Earth (just like Yuru had thought), and the main source of energy for it were the elements, of which there were seven: Anemo, Geo, Pyro, Hydro, Electro, Cryo and Dendro. Monsters could wield all these elements without the need for Visions though, which explained why that big monster -the samachurl- Yuru had seen was wielding a flaming axe.
