Draco kissed his parents bye before leaving for his favorite coffee shop. After the war the family moved away from the manor and to a less luxurious house. His father had a hard time not having house elves around but Draco enjoyed it, finally a clean slate and figuring out what the Malfoy family were besides the fortune and their name.
Draco turned the corner and instantly his heart beated faster, not only did his favorite coffee shop serve his favorite pastry. The owner was no other than Harry Potter himself. After year eight, they made peace with each other..understanding that under hard times there would be difficult choices and they started flirting with one another everytime they bumped into each other. And Draco had been both happy and surprised stepping into the coffeeshop seeing Harry there.

"Isn't it our favorite customer" Harry said a playful look in his eyes that made Draco's heart jolt. Draco didn't need to tell Harry his order, he knew that by heart."One chocolate kiss and a latte" Draco blushed and nodded.
"I'll be right with you with your order, feel free so sit down"
Ever since Draco discovered Harry working at the coffee shop he always left cute notes such as, you look so sweet today or that apron makes your eyes sparkle. Draco was so embarrassed that he hadn't been around to see Harry's reaction to his notes.
"Your order sir" Draco felt a sting of disappointment as he looked up looking into a pair of hazelnut eyes instead of Harry's green ones.
"Hello Dex...you doing good today?" Draco asked politely hoping the other male didn't hear boredom in his voice.
Dex smiled, nodded and handed him a note.
"Harry specifically asked me to give you this now BUT you open it AFTER you eaten"Draco slightly burned his tongue on the latte and got abit of pastry on his white shirt. But how could he think of that when the note was right there at his fingertips, he could hear his heartbeat pound in his chest. His cheeks got blushed. With one large bite he swallowed the pastry and chugged the latte down. He was way to eager.
Now it's time giving you a note, idk
if it's gonna be as lovely as yours. But you
coming here has really made my days and it means alot to me. So i guess what i'm trying to say its thank you, for being a part of my day/ HThe smile Draco had on his face went from ear to ear, he searched the café for the messy black hair and finally he spotted him. He was helping one of the new ones with the coffee machine...Draco couldn't help but to smile seeing Harry really give it all at his job.He approached the counter, a feeling of butterflies in his stomach.
"Do you want anything more Draco?" Harry's smile only made Draco smile wider, if that's even possible.
"A date to go please"
