This can change your life - Affirm yes if you wanna change.
As I was onto my morning walk today, I saw a old poor man selling a Banana Plant in pathway( A banana plant, which is found everywhere in my region - in houses, in roads, just everywhere) I don't know why he was selling such a ubiquitous plant. Maybe, it's common in your region of selling banana plant but I haven't seen anyone selling it till today. Banana Plant is widely used during this festive season of diwali for decorating houses as it's said it's lucky and for welcoming devotees. I also saw many customers interrogating with that old man for the plant. The prices ranged from 50 / plant seeing their sizes. & he sold maximum number of plants within an hour. My mind was full of questions ( Why not? He is selling such a ubiquitous plant and people are also buying it. They can get it easily without any cost from their locality itself. Is that old man selling a different or may say unique species of banana Plant? ) I was just curious to get my answers so I went to him to ask for the matter. First he hesitated but seeing my curiosity he then answered me my questions. As he says :
"I am very poor, I don't have any money to invest upon. My family is filled with hunger and I can't do anything about it. Yesterday I saw many people using these plant to decorate their houses. At first I got an idea of delivering the Banana Plants to their houses and in return earn some bugs - I did it, hardly got some bugs too, then I thought if people are giving money for delivering them into their house, why not keeping them in pathway so that if people sees it they can offer me some bugs as people are often lasier to cut it down from a field, carring it and taking to their houses." The place where he choosed to open his tiny business was a hustle and bustle area. He had choosed a great place where people saw it and interrogated with him. He says " I didn't even had idea that that selling of banana plant would actually worked & I have sold more than 100s of plants in just few hours. Also I now have enough money to feed my family and can start to work for my new Idea". ( As I said earlier banana plant is only demandable in festive season of Diwali in my region & after the season this plan won't workout - *I don't know about your's locality*. It works only for 2-3 days a years and further it's useless).
Just imagine a poor old man selling a Banana Plant which is found everywhere and has also sold more than 100s units that's 100 × ₹50( approx) = ₹5000. That's huge, not for some of us, but for the person who didn't even had a penny a moments back. I have seen banana plant more than hundreds of times and that plan didn't even recalled in my mind although I also purchased one from him.
Again I had a question - What if that idea didn't worked? What if his efforts went into vein? You guys must be thinking what efforts had he made, right? He had to cut it from field, shift it to one place to another, looking for potential customers etc. The answers for my second question was he had plan B. If selling didn't worked he would just cut the plants and deliver it to his potential customers who would give him bugs for delivering. From that he would earn less but not getting is far more better than getting something.
You guys be thinking that I must be saying you to sell banana plant but absolutely not. It's all about the learnings that old man gave me and if you implement ( not all but a little bit ) of these learning no one can stop you from getting wealthier/happier and even more than what you deserve.
1) "Never loose hope, even it's small try to do something that people do not do"
Try to do some unique things, that people usually hesitate of doing( this doesn't mean that you'll do something illigal). Learn new things and try to implement that in your life. Just use your brain and heart too. It's said when we balance the thinking of brain & our heart than we can conquer the world. It's hard to implement it but learning new things, focusing on what you want can helps you do it well & in the generation where everything is just in your hand, where you can learn a vast knowledge( whether positive or negative onto you) it's much more easier. Just stay positive of what you are doing or what you want to do. You will not always get what you think but what if it works out & you get success like that old man - Infact I'll call him "The Banana Man". What if he loosed hope and did even utilised his brain then he and his family would die of hunger. Just think of it..
2) "Everything you do needs some efforts whether it's small or big"
That old man used to cut that banana plant from field and he was so poor that he didn't even had a penny to transfer plants through vehicles( or any modes of transportation). Even he managed to carry a heavy banana plant in his shoulder to deliver it or to keep it on his footstall. I am not saying you to carry heavy weight. Efforts can be mentally too. It can hamper you brain but your brain needs it.
3) "Always have a plan B of what you are doing"
I have already mentioned earlier about the plan B of that old man. Whatever you do infact whatever, always have a plan B. What if A doesn't works even though you have applied a huge efforts on it, what will you do?. In that case you must be knowing that you have plan B and that will definitely work. Maybe you'll get small amount of penny but still not getting is far more better than getting something.
And finally the conclusion - If you're willing to sidestep your comfort and fears of getting anything and instead struggle to deploy your mind to its fullest capacity to creat things that matter, than you'll discover as other have before you.
And hopefully now you have finished reading, I hope you agree too and comment me what you think about it and how are you feeling right now after reading this.Thankyou, you can get rich -- A great success is waiting for you and start working for it.
