Kamol had bad nights before this one… filled with bullets and gunshots…
It was part of his trade, part of the deal with the devil he had when he went with Ivan and decided to follow in his footsteps, it was what it was and Kamol didn’t regret it.
But there’s always a first time for everything, and that was the first time he regretted not killing someone sooner. The First time he didn't regret speaking his mind first, the first time he regretted not finding the love of his life earlier.
Especially, knowing Kim had been within reach for years, years he had been in his eyesight yet he didn't see him.
Because now not only was he in a position to come out losing, not just losing anything, or his reputation, but what was on the line was the love of his life, the one person he loved body and soul… Kim…
The person who came to him on a night of passion and darkness seeking warmth and love, only to give him the best night of his life, enough that he went insane was wanting him, with needing him.
but life is anything but simple.
Between enemies and previous lovers, Chasing Ivan and fighting Danai, Kamol lost communication with Kim and now the matter ended up in something messy, to say the least.
Because Kamol could have done better, He knew as much, he told Kim all about his past, or at least the parts that wouldn’t make Kim pity him, and refused to know about Kim’s past in return, but now all of it was brought up in the open. and Kim felt the need to explain, something Kamol didn’t allow to happen.
Hence their current predicament… Because Danil - being the little shit he was - used that against Kamol to drive Kim away, and it was no one's 's fault but Kamol, not only resulting in Kim being out of Kamol’s reach but also resulting in both of them being kidnapped by Danai, who had been following them around and took the slightest of chance to get Kim once they were out of the safety of Kamol's mansion.
and Now Kamol had to choose between giving Danai what he wanted, losing power, or losing the love of his life.
and while that wasn't even a choice, Kamol knew that the matter would most likely not stop at that.
Because Danai is nothing but adamant about causing Kamol as much hurt as possible if not more, he was going to do everything in his power to ensure Kamol would lose no matter what happened, but Kamol was not going to stand idly by as Kim suffered, not at the hands of Danil or Danai.
Not even at his own hands, he would do anything in his power to ensure Kim never suffered.
Kamol just hoped that luck would be on his side, that whatever he would do would be enough for him not to come out of the other side losing…
Because this was one loss he was not going to recover from.
-----
Kamol did what Danai had said down to the letter… but it was still not enough for Danai to just give him his people and walk out… since he never intended to in the first place.
Kamol saw it in Danai’s eyes, the second he knew that he was not going to let Kim or Danil get out of there… that Kamol has to kill him no matter what.
He handed Kamol Danil’s first because he must have guessed that Ivan would be soon on their tale, that despite Kamol showing up alone initially, he wouldn’t be alone for long
The second Kamol’s men stormed the place, Danai sprang into action, and before Kamol could act, and get Kim away from Danai, Danai had pulled him away, tearing him from Kamol’s reach… and hitting his head with the butt of the gun when he struggled to get away.
