"Hey, it's Mystic Falls not so perfect girl, Elena Gilbert. You're eleven steps closer to finishing this unbearable screeching to your ears. For the second reason, it's about my ex-best friend."
"I don't want to finish this." Jeremy thought, laughing at the fact that Elena used his favorite insult against her, her screeching voice.
"Matt Donovan-the sweet blonde-headed jock of Mystic Falls. Welcome to your tape. "This is about a guy who liked me then just but because I didn't return his feelings, he felt the need to ruin me. One achievement at a time. What made you hate me, Matt? I'm sorry if I never felt the same way for you because it was hard for me to trust after what your friend did to me. So, don't go around saying I broke your heart when my heart was already broken too, but I'm sorry if I broke your heart or even humiliated you."
"I'm sorry to Elena," Matt said, sorrow filling his voice, as his guilt overwhelmed him.
"You literally had to remove me from the cheerleading team, you had to get my friends to go against me, you had to beat me to the punch every time I wanted to try a new club, just for a girl who told you, that she didn't feel the same way. You could have been a good friend Matt, or I could've felt the same way if you had just waited. All we have is a bunch of what ifs' and I hate that. I miss having you as a friend. You could've been one of the people who saved me. But instead, you became one of the reasons why. Goodbye, old friend and may we meet again."
"Till we meet again," Matt thought, as he too wondered what might have happened if he had just waited.
"I guess you can put in the next tape," Caroline said.
An awkward silence fell among the friends and enemies, preparing themselves, as they wondered how bad could the next tape be.
