"You've proven yourself to be more like a human than you are a demon. I'm sure with you there will be an exception, Y/N. Please consider this request. I'd be delighted to welcome you in my family as one of my own. I will be happy to have you as a family, Y/N" he said. My eyes soften at what he said. A family? It would be a dream come true... but would it be right to accept?
-Pure Happiness-
Y/N P.O.V
"You don't have to answer right away. You can have all the time you need to think. Maybe give me an answer after the mission ended" he said. I bow my head at his understanding. I feel tears slip out of my eyes I thought of the chance of finally having a family. But I still feel like I don't deserve it. Me? A demon... becoming a family of the leader of Demon Slayers?
"Thank you, Oyakata-Sama... I guess I'll be leaving now" I said. He nods his head at what I said. I turn around and walks away with Tomioka-San following me. I bit my lips as I replay what Oyakata-Sama said in my head over and over.

"Hey, Y/N..." Giyuu-San called out, breaking the silence that has been lingering between us since we left the Ubuyashiki Estate. I turn my head to look at him. He turn his head to look at me. "You should really consider on accepting Oyakata-Sama's request. This could be your chance to have a family..." he said.
"That's what I thought too... but, would it be right? I'm just a demon, Giyuu-San" I said. I lower my gaze to look at the ground. I feel a hand on my head as he ruffles my head.
"If Oyakata-Sama believes it's fine. I'm sure it will be. He always know what he's doing, Y/N... he never make a rash choice. If he wants you to be a part of his family is because he sees something in you that makes him believe you're worth it" he said. My eyes soften at what he said.
"Thank you, Giyuu-San..." I said. He smiles softly at me. He smiles back as we look forward to focus on the task ahead of us. It's not a difficult mission as we just need to patrol the area to make sure no demons lurks around.
A While Later
I jump out to the way as a demon tries to strike me. This demon is just an ordinary demon and not a part of the Twelve Kizuki. Even so, it's quite strong for an ordinary demon.
Weirdly enough, this demon seems stronger than the one I killed when trying to save Giyuu-San and that demon was a Twelve Kizuki. Did the progenitor of the demons finally lost it or something? How can he make someone so weak a member of the Twelve Kizuki, yet a demon this strong still lingers around as an ordinary demon.
Giyuu-San is also busy with another demon. As the two of us battles against our own respective enemies. The demon fighting me seems really unhappy about the fact that I'm a demon helping a Slayer. He lands not far from me and growls at me.
"You're a demon! What are you doing in cahoots with a mortal, huh?!" He yelled out. I just stare at him without saying anything. He growls angrily at me as he lunges at me again. I jump out of the way to avoid his attack. He's quite strong that I start to feel exhausted.
I think I don't have a choice but to release my demonic strength. I stand straight and place my hand on the end of the ribbon tied around my neck. I give the demon a cold gaze as I pull it off.

My eyes glows a deep shade of red, as I feel my power surging through my body. I jump towards the demon in a blink of an eye. The demon didn't get a chance to process the situation as I ripped it's head off the neck.
"Ahhh!! This is ridiculous!! How can I be defeated by a mere traitor!!" He yelled out. I just stare at him with a cold gaze. I roll my eyes and looks away. I squeeze my hand that's holding his head, crushing his skull thus ending his life. I turn my head to look at how Giyuu-San is doing to see that he have defeated his opponent as well.
He turn to look at me as he sheathed his Nichirin sword. I smile tiredly at him as I wrap the ribbon around my neck. My vision blurred from exhaustion as my body starts to sway a little.
Giyuu-San quickly rushes over to me and catches my body before I fall on the ground. He let my body lean against his as I lean my head against his chest. I close my eyes as I slowly give in to the darkness.
Time-skip
I slowly open my eyes, quickly realizing that I'm back at Giyuu-San's Estate. I feel so tired after using too much of my demonic power. I slowly move to sit up as the door slowly slide open.
I turn my head to see it's Giyuu-San. "Are you feeling okay?" He asked. I just nod my head at what he said. He let out a sigh and walk over to me. "What was that?" He asked.
"Oh... this ribbon around my neck helps suppress my demon. I only take it off when I needed to use my true potential" I said. He just hums softly at what I said. I smile softly at him.
"We have visitors, Y/N..." he said, making me furrow my eyebrows in confusion. "You think you can walk?" He asked. I nod my head. He offers his hand to me. I place my hand on top of his, allowing him to pull me up to my feet.
We make our way towards the guest room. "Oyakata-Sama..." I said, surprised to see him here. He turn his head slightly to my voice as he smiles softly. Yumi rush over to me, wrapping her arms around me. I smile softly at her as I wrap my arms around her smaller frame. She pulls away and grins at me. I gently ruffle her hair. I turn my attention to Oyakata-Sama. I walk up to stand in front of him and kneel down.
"I'm so relieved to know you're doing all right, Y/N... you too, Giyuu..." he said. I lift my head to look at him. He smiles softly once again. "So... have you thought it over?" He asked. By his question, I know he's talking about his offer to adopt me to be his daughter. I bit my lips as I look down.
Oyakata-Sama stays silent as he seem to wait for my answer. I feel a pair of smaller arms wrap around my waist. I look down to see Yumi as she stares at me with her innocent eyes.
"Please accept, Nee-San... that way, you'll really be my sister" she said. My eyes soften at her request. I smile softly as I kneel down, wrapping my arms around her. She wrap her arms around my neck. "I would be so happy if you'd be my real sister..." she said, in a soft voice.
"Okay..." I whispered in a soft voice just loud enough for her to hear. She tighten her arms around my neck. I smile softly to myself as she slowly pull away from the hug. I lift my hand, gently patting her head. I slowly move to stand up and turn to look at Oyakata-Sama who's still waiting for my respond. "I accept, Oyakata-Sama..." I said. His milky eyes widens a little and a smile starts to form on his lips.
"Welcome to the family, Yumi... Y/N..." he said, as he spread his arms. Yumi and I walk closer towards him. I slowly wrap my arms around his torso as he gently wrap his arms around the two of us. "You two may call me father from now on" he said, placing his hands on top of our heads.
"Yes, father..." I said, smiling softly as he ruffles my hair gently. I lean my head against his chest as I feel content. I finally have a chance to have a family. Something I've longed to have. Maybe now, I'll find a way that'll help me remember my past and maybe... I can finally become a human.
