𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲’𝘀 𝗣𝗢𝗩,

“Di, I will get  going now. Otherwise we will be late for the plane right?” Natasha forced a smile at Ankita and went inside her room, even though she wanted to scream, shouting at him for missing her last farewell party. She held back her tears, removing the earring, and looked at herself in the mirror.

She looked at the cut on her hand. The cut she got on her hand when she was baking the cake, while cutting open the packet, she accidentally cut her hand, but regardless, she made a cheesecake, his favourite one.

Dark Blue. His favourite. She wore a dark blue long frock with jhumke cause she knew he would wear a dark blue shirt only, and they could at least have a good photo of themselves. Kush came to her party and gifted her a small teddy bear. But her only best friend, her entire childhood, Adhik, didn't come.

And now, when she is leaving this place for years, he doesn't come to bid her bye, too? Does she not mean anything to him?

She wiped the fallen tears when she heard footsteps coming her way. She saw Ankita with a smile on her face. “Natasha, you know Adhik has–”

“Mujhe nahi sunni hai Adhik ke baare me kuch baat di! Aap jaiye apne ladhle bhai ke paas mujhe usse dekhna bhi nahi hai,” her outburst. It was expected from her. Ankita sighed but with a little smile.

(I don't want to hear anything about Adhik! You go to your dear brother, I don't even want to see him)

She went towards Natasha and helped her put her jhumka (earring) back on.

“Show it to the one you wore it for,” Ankita softly said, gently holding her shoulders. Anger flared in Natasha’s body upon hearing her.

“I didn’t wear this dress for anyone! I wanted to wear blue, so I wore it,” Natasha firmly stated, irritatedly removing the watch she was wearing and avoiding Ankita’s eyes.

“But I wasn’t even talking about the color or the dress,” Ankita replied with a fake curious tone, and Natasha finally met her gaze. Her eyes were red, tears welling up in them.
