Monitors and machines beep steadily around you. Your motionless body lays on a bed, sheets of white sprawled out upon you. Your eyes struggle to adjust to the unfamiliar environment that surrounds you, with your line of vision heaved with blur. A dull pain wrapped itself around the entirety of your body. The smell of rubbing alcohol and medication was intoxicating. A small groan leaves your dried parted lips. Your eyes began to finally fixate upon things with little improvement. Your messy hair lays sprawled out upon the white pillows. You felt uncomfortable with the rough material of your light blue hospital gown rubbing against you.

Your eyes flicker down towards your motionless hand. Many wires and needles prodded through the skin of your flesh.  Your brows furrowed in concentration as you tried to move your hand. Nothing. You let out a defeated sigh before letting your head hit the soft texture of your pillow. A prolonged silence was all that surrounded you, except for the occasional beeping of monitors.

The sound of a door handle rattling caused your eyes to quickly dart over. The door opened to reveal an unfamiliar face. It was a man with hair as dark as night and skin as pale as snow. His eyes were red like blood. He wore a dark and fairly strange attire of clothes. He's was very handsome you have to admit. His face and eyes held no emotion as he stepped inside the room.

"Who are you?" Your voice was hoarse and groggy. The man remained silent, not giving you a response. Your face held a perplexed look.

He walked over to your bedside, his eyes lingering upon your form. Before any more words could escape your lips, the man grabbed your arm, slightly startling you. His eyes studied the wires and needles in your arm as he felt around for your pulse. Keeping his thumb rested on your wrist to feel the rhythm of your pulse, his eyes wondered over to one of the monitors. "Pulse seems stable." He muttered to himself. 'I guess he's my doctor.' You thought to yourself as you watched the strange man continue to check your vitals and monitors. He let go of your arm before heading over to one of the countertops on the other side of the room. Opening a cabinet door, the man pulls out a needle. A large one at that.

You gulp at the sight of it, unease threading its way inside of you. The man pulled a pair of gloves over his pale hands. The man, with the needle in hand, makes his way back over to you. He pulls out a seat next your bed and sits down. You flinch away from him, making the man halt. His eyes met with your uneasy ones. His eyes reminded you of Poseidon's in a way. Lifeless and dull. But his seemed different in a way that you just can't put your finger on. "I'm just extracting your blood to test." He spoke nonchalantly.

You slowly nodded you head before letting him grab your arm. He rolled the sleeve of your hospital gown up and wiped your arm. He brought the needle up to your upper arm before carefully inserting it. You shifted uncomfortably at the feeling of your blood being sucked in by the needle. Your eyes flickered back over to the man's face. His eyes stayed on watching the amounts of blood being taken in by the needle.

"I'm sorry but who are you?" You repeated your question. A silence was all there was for several seconds before the man decided to answer.

"Beelzebub." He replied monotonously. His eyes glanced up, expecting to see you cower like all the others at the newly found knowledge of him being the infamous cursed god. But his eyes widen at your beaming face.

"It's nice to meet you!" You replied with a smile. He was astonished. He excepted you to be scared and even look at him in disgust. But no, your reaction was quite the opposite of what he had imagined. A feeling bubbled in the pit of his stomach.

Beelzebub trailed his gaze back to your arm, refraining from letting a smile spill onto his face. "Done." He replied simply before taking the needle out of your arm. Beelzebub stood up before walking over to the sink. He pulled the gloves off before going on to rinse his hands in the water. He turned back to you while drying his hands with a white cloth.

"A simple dinner will be brought to you shortly along with some medicine. Take it easy and rest, you had quite a stressful day." His words held no emotion but something about his gaze said something different. He turned around and began to head towards the door.

"Thank you."

He halted when he heard your voice. His lips parted in slight shock, yet he remained silent, not daring to turn around to meet your gaze. Several moments pass before he began to walk again, letting the door softly close behind him.
