The bus ride back to my house is silent.
"It's okay Damon." Ryan says.
"No it's not." I sigh, banging my head into my seat.
"Who does she like anyways?" Ryan asks.
"It doesn't matter." I say, harsher this time.
Taken aback by this question, Ryan says, "Geez, what are you so mad for? You'll get over it."
"I'm mad because I just got rejected! Are you blind and deaf Ryan?" I snap.
Ryan scoffs. "Blind and deaf? Damon I'm listening to you talk and I'm on my phone texting. You tell me, am I blind and deaf?"
I try to keep my temper so I speak through gritted teeth.
"Ryan, I just got rejected. Trust me, this isn't a good feeling."
Ryan rolls his eyes. "Damon stop being over dramatic. It's just a girl."
"Okay, you know what Ryan? Why don't you help me out here? I just got rejected, and now I'm arguing with you. I'm pissed."
"Bro, it's just a girl. Get over it."
I start to get mad.
"Ryan. Do you know what it feels like to love? No, no you don't. So instead of judging my life based on how you act, why don't you reflect on yourself."
"Damon, I'm not judging your life, okay? Why don't you go find a dictionary to look what judging your life means."
"RYAN! STOP BEING SO DAMN ANNOYING? CAN'T YOU JUST HELP ME OUT? I GOT REJECTED, AND I'M NOT LIKE YOU, BEING SO COOL ABOUT GODAMN EVERYTHING!" I yell.
Before Ryan can say anything else, I get off the bus and sulk home.
I don't want to talk to this jerk.

I lay on my bed. To say today was a terrible day was an understatement.
As I continue to think of my messed up life, my phone buzzes. Who could be calling me right now?
I sigh and pick it up.
It was from one of my friends, Timothy.
I pick up.
"Hi soggy rat." I sigh.
"Hey Deez nuts." He mocks.
"Are you alright? I heard you got into a argument with Ryan."
I fall back on my bed.
"I don't wanna talk about it." I groan.
Timothy sighs. "Fine, we'll talk about something else. How'd it go with Yasmine?"
"You know what, bye Timothy."
"Bro you can't just-"

I toss my phone on my bed and stare at my bedroom ceiling.
