JJ, and John B work at the wreck in the OBX and Pope works with his dad. Anyway their boss is a guy called Mike, he's divorced and pretty strict, you don't wanna get in the wrong side of him. Apparently his wife Anna ran of with a new guy and they live in Chicago.

"Hey boys I need you to give this place a proper going over when I go out" he emerges from his office in a smart shirt.
"Sure thing Mike" John B nods
"Where are you of too all dressed up?" JJ asks cheekily, earning a nudge from JB.
"I'm going to have dinner with my daughter if you must know" he replies
"You have a daughter?" JJ asks surprised. He's worked here for a year and he's never heard Mike mention her before.
"Yes, she's moving here to live with me" he says looking at himself in the mirror.
"Lucky her" JJ says
Mike raises his eyebrows
"Dude" John B whispers annoyed, JJ's mouth was always getting him in trouble.
"nah I'm being serious, the outer banks is great, the surf and the boneyard parties and everything.
"Yeah well she's not here for a holiday, she was having some problems at her last school" Mike sighs
"A bit of rebel is she?" JJ smirks
Mike just rolls his eyes and leaves "don't forget to clean up" he yells back at them.
"Dude what the hell?" John B shoots him a look.
"What? I was just joking around? Not my fault he doesn't have a sense of humour"
"News flash, he's our boss JJ, not your friend"
"Whatever" JJ throws the cloth in his hand at John B's face.
"I swear to god!" John B tries not to laugh and throws it back at his friend. "Just clean that shit up"

Kiaras walks in to a way to posh restaurant and spots her dad sat down so she makes her way over to him.
He gets up to greet her and give her a hug.
"Hey sweetie"
"Hey dad" she smiles sitting down across from him.
She hasn't seen him in over a year, which was at a family gathering.
"This is pretty fancy"
"Well it's a special occasion, it's not everyday my daughter comes to visit me"
"Well it wasn't exactly my choice was it?" She sighs
"Your mother loves you very much seeetheart, and so do I"
"Is that why she kicked me out?"
"She just thought it was time for you to have a change"
"Right" she mutters
"Anyway I'm glad if it means your living me" he smiles
"We haven't lived together since ... well you know. And it's been what ... 4 years"
"Yeah it's been a long time"
"So shall we order"

John B goes into Mikes office, which was strictly out of bounds normally, but he couldn't find the keys for the back door and he knew Mike wouldn't be back tonight so.
