Asialyn B. Duncan
Las Vegas, Nevada|Terrified with shaky hands I looked down immediately for my clutch but it was gone.
I know I left it here.
I looked back up at Chris to him smiling, reaching his arm from behind his back. He revealed my phone in his hand, placing it on his thigh.
He's insane.
I stand up abruptly, I'm not sure what state of mind he's in but this is starting to scare me.
How did he even know I was here?
I've heard stories about women with crazy ex-boyfriends that become obsessed and even go to the point of stalking or killing them.
Or both.
Is that what this is turning into?
My thoughts are starting to make my stomach turn upside down. My legs pick up the pace, practically running over people heading for the back door where Sky brought me in from.
Everything is moving too fast, I'm surrounded by people lost in their own world drunk and high off god knows what kind of drugs.
Of course they wouldn't be paying attention to the short black girl pretty much running for her life when there's all this ass everywhere.
I turned around quickly checking to see if he was near me, still moving my feet. Noticing him by the bar in the middle of the room trying to push past people dancing to the music.
My heart pounded against my chest seeing how hard he was trying to get to me. I turned my head back around but got caught off balance when I ran into a wall—well a person.
Right before I could hit the ground I felt a strong arm around my waist, pulling me upwards.
Breathing heavily I looked up, my eyes connecting with a set of hooded light brown eyes "god im so sorry I wasn't looking where I was go—" I was cut off by the familiar face.
Almost instantly I recognized him. It's head in the bathroom guy from Lucky's the other night.
"No worries—my pleasure." He replied in a deep, rough voice. Scanning my face with his eyes, a hint of an accent laced in his words.
It's not the time for naughty thoughts Asialyn.
"Thank you" I uttered. I didn't even realize his arms were still wrapped around me, the fronts of our body's pressed together.
I quickly remembered the situation I was in and snapped out of it, turning around to look behind me.
I frantically looked around the area for Chris but I didn't see him. Just then I felt the loss of the arms around me
Put them back daddy—stop.
Turning back to the man who saved me I watched him take a step backwards.
Damn.
He's probably not into black women.
"At least this time I'm not running into you getting your dick sucked" I joke laughing awkwardly not really knowing what to say after a few seconds of silence.
Ugh why did you even mention it? This man probably doesn't even remember you.
"What?" He plastered a smile on his face amused.
I couldn't help the smile that rested on my face at his fake questioning. I know he heard me.
"I said, at—"
