As I stepped onto the bus, the bus driver greeted me with a tip of his hat and a "Hello Miss." I looked around on the bus, frantically trying to find a bus seat, and finally found a seat labeled 19. I sat down and realized that there was someone sitting with me.
"Hi!" The girl looked at me and grinned.
"Hey." I mumbled.
"My name is May. What's yours?" She beamed.
"Emily, but you can call my Emi."
"Cool. What grade are you in?"
"7th."
"Really?! Me too!"
"Phew.." I sighed.
The bus stopped at a very large school. The kids started unloading.
"Hey Emi, would you like to walk with me?"
"Uh...Sure."
Me and May walked off the bus together and headed towards the school's front door.

"I have been meaning to ask, who is your homeroom?"
"709" We had just walked into the school when May had asked me.
"Oh, I think I might be in the same room as you.... Can I go to my locker? My schedule is in my locker, let me go get it...."
My locker! I completely forgot! I have to find it....
"Hey May, I completely forgot about my own locker, can I meet you by your locker?"
"Yeah sure! It's 7088!" Then she ran off.
I went to the side of the hallway, next to a locker, and opened my bookbag, and grabbed the folder that my mom gave me, and opened it up. I search threw the 3 or 4 pieces of paper that my mom had stuck in the folder. Suddenly I felt someone bumb into me.
"Oh! I am so sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going and..."
I looked up, and saw as described:

Guy
"No...No...No...I'm um, sorry for, uh being, um... uh.... on the floor."
Mental brain slap
"It's ok. Hey, are you new here? The names Evan. What's yours?"
"Um... Emily." I paused. "But....but you can call me, eh Emo, I mean Emi."
"Emo suits you better, you know." He smiled, "Well I got to go,see you around Emo." Then he walked away.
I can not belive I have a boy flirt with me this early in the game!
I sat there, stunned, then I went back to work.
