Lower Hades

"Shuta ka, girl! Naka-perfect ako!" Sigaw ni bruha habang niyuyugyog ako kaya napatingin ang mga tao sa amin. Nakakahiya.

Even though she's embarrassing to be with, still, I genuinely smiled seeing her jumping in happiness. "I have knew it from the start that you can make it, Alexandra."

"Luh, ba't seryoso ka?" That made me roll my eyes and just continued to walk towards our hall.

My forehead creased in confusion the moment I noticed a bunch of bouquet flowers; not just an ordinary flowers but bouquets of alyssum, red, blue, purple carnation, coreopsis, poppies, mountain avens, gladiolus, dryas octopetala, and stargazer lilies. Unlike before, I can't seem to find a post it note attached in of the bouquet.

I shrugged it off and Lex pulled me out of the scene to get inside the hall. "Want to go in with me?" I asked her before holding the door knob of Mohan's room.

"Is it okay?" She seems hesitant.

"Of course, that's not a big deal." I opened the door and let her in first.

"Timmy! Mama and Tita Lex's here." I smiled cheekily when Tim came of out of his father's room, excitedly running and wiggling his tail on his way to greet us.

I bent down to lift his small body up and laughed when he barked cutely while licking my cheeks. "Yes, yes. I miss you too, mahal."

Binigay ko siya kay Lex nang inangat niya ang mga kamay nito. Sumama naman kaagad si Tim dahil magkakilala na sila.

I went to the kitchen to check what dish I can possibly make out of the available ingredients here.

"What the freak?!" Lex shrieked that made me jolted. I went out of the kitchen to check up on her and Tim. She ran towards me and dragged me out of the room together with our dog.

It turns out that Mohan is currently at the Dean's office for some unknown reason, but I know for sure that Lex knows something. We left Timmy with Samuel inside the car.

Malapit na kami sa office nang makita namin ang lalake sa harap ng pintuan. Niyakap ko agad siya nang makalapit ako.

"Stay still." I sternly told him before checking his body to see if there's any injuries or wounds, or even bruises. I breathe out in relief when I saw none.

"Are you okay? What happened? Tell me, please. . ." My eyebrows knitted together when he smiled and hugged me, chuckling. I felt his arms moved before Lex went in to the office. I smacked his arms and scolded him for laughing in a serious situation.

I continuously asked him what happened but he wouldn't answer. He would just kiss my hand or the side of my head or play with my fingers and tell me that there's nothing to worry about.

"I've already commanded the dean and our lawyer to fix any conflicts. Nothing's to worry about now." Lex smiled at us so casually and left us behind.

"Dinner's ready!" Mon shouted from the living room while I fix my table to study later.

I went out of the room to go to the living room. Mon pulled a chair for us that made me smile.

"So Mr. Ramirez, how did you end up in the dean's office?" The whole table became quiet; they tried to advert the topic however I did not budge until the only
sound can be heard is the sound of utensils clanking on the plates.

"What's with the glancing?" I irritatedly asked when I caught them glancing at each other as if they're making an agreement. I glared at Lex when she nodded as if agreeing for who knows what is it.
