After two years
 
Today is the day for Seojoon's team to go on a world tour without Seojoon. It's been 6 months since Seojoon left for hiatus as he was suffering from anxiety and some uncomfortable syndrome, which could cause him to get distracted while working, and he won't be able to work well.

Dohwa: We are all here but Seojoon. I wish he's here with us at this time.
 
Dohwa was a bit sad as he missed his best friend, Seojoon.
 
Park: I hope he'll be alright.
 
Dohwa: It's been two years, but it's still a mystery why he went like this.
 
Park: If everyone only hurt him, what would he do?
 
Dohwa: He's so sensitive that he lets people hurt him again and again.

Bomi thought, then got up and searched for her phone, then checked the notifications.

Yujin: Where can we meet?
 
Bomi: Come to this coffee shop at 11 a.m.
 
Bomi: *sends location*

Bomi's POV: what does she want to say? It's been two years since I stopped talking to Seojoon and his friends. I even avoid my best friend, Cho Hee.
 
Bomi just remembered what happened the day she met Seojoon last time and the reason why she left him.

Bomi's POV: That day, I made him confused. I'll confess my love today.
 
*Bell rings*
 
Bomi: coming!!! *Opens door*
 
Yujin: *smiles* Hi, Bomi-shi!
 
Bomi: *surprised* Hey Yujin! What a surprise! Welcome !! 
 
Yujin: Thank you! *Enters the house*
 
Bomi: How do you know my home?
 
Yujin: I asked Cho Hee
 
Bomi: you should have asked me directly! Anyway, I'm happy you came. Wait, let's make coffee for you.
 
Yujin: Thank you, Bomi! Actually, I want to tell you something.
 
Bomi: Is there anything important?
 
Yujin: yeah...
 
Bomi: Oh, what's that?
 
Yujin: Stay away from Seo Joon!
 
Bomi: w-what
 
Yujin: It may seem rude, but this is the reality: things between you both won't work out.

Yujin: I know you both love each other.

Bomi: I don't want him to be in trouble because of me.
 
Yujin: Not only him. The society won't let you live peacefully if they find out you're close to an idol.

Bomi: I'll leave Seojoon.
 
Yujin: I'm not telling you to leave him permanently.
 
Bomi: It's okay; nothing is permanent.
 
Yujin: I'm sorry for making you do this. I just don't want my friend to get into any trouble.
 
Bomi: I don't care about society. I'm doing this for the Seojoon image.

Bomi's POV: It might be a sweet confession if Yujin didn't come to my house that day... It's ok, I can't blame Yujin too.

Bomi: How are you?
 
Yujin: I'm fine. I hope you are too.
 
Bomi: So what's the matter?
 
Yujin: Can you talk to Seojoon?
 
Bomi: why?
 
Yujin: It's been too long since he talked with us; he's not good mentally.
 
Bomi: what??? What happened to him? Is he alright?
 
Yujin: He's not
 
Bomi: *silent*
 
Yujin: I'm sorry.
 
Yujin: I thought Seojoon would be living a happy life if he's not in a relationship.
 
Bomi was listening to her without saying a work and Yujin proceed talk further
 
Yujin: But I was wrong. A person can't live happily without the person they love.
 
Bomi: What do you mean?
 
Yujin: He's not good.
 
Bomi: why? 
 
Yujin: He misses you.
 
Bomi: *sigh* He'll be alright... Don't worry 
 
Yujin: You don't want to meet him?
 
Bomi: I broke his heart by being heartless. It's not good to enter his life again.
 
Yujin: I made a mistake. I should not have come between you both.
 
Bomi: It's okay, the past is past.
 
Yujin: what?
 
Bomi: We can't change the past; we can change the future.
 
Yujin: that's what I'm telling
 
Bomi: I left Seojoon, but you can be with Seojoon in the future. You understand him better than I do.
 
Yujin: huh?? Are you giving up on him?
 
Bomi: No, I moved on from him.
 
Yujin: *speachless*
 
Bomi: He was doing well before I came into his life; he can live without me too. *leaves*
 
Yujin felt so guilty that she knows she messed up with her best friend Seojoon's life, but she doesn't want to give up; she wants to fix the problem that she started.
 
Bomi comes back to her office; she doesn't want to show her love for Seojoon, but she can't focus on work without knowing about Seojoon's condition.
 
Bomi: *searches the current status of the Seojoon team*
 
Bomi was reading all the articles and realized Seojoon was absent for too long. Then she found out that Seojoon is on hiatus currently.
 
Bomi was surprised and it breaks her heart while reading about Seojoon, but she still doesn't want to go back to him.
 
Days go by like this.
 
After the world tour, his team returned to Korea, and they got the good news that Seojoon is coming back to his team.
 
at the Seojoon office
 
Dohwa, Park, and Doyoung welcome their main vocalist, Seojoon.
 
Dohwa: Welcome back, Seo Joon! *Hugs*
 
Seojoon: Thanks. *hugs back*
 
Park: We're so happy you came back.
 
Seojoon: I know. That's why I made the decision to come back.
 
Dohwa: Are you alright now?
 
Seojoon: Yeah, I'm totally fine! I've lost my mind, but now I understand that so many people love me. I can't ruin my mental health for a particular person.
 
Dohwa: Thank God! Finally, you understand.
 
Doyoung: We missed you so much!
 
Seojoon: Hereafter, we'll be a good team.
