Children are crying,
Parents are dying,
Brothers are fighting,
Sisters are hurting;
We are prospering.
Why don't we do anything?
Why don't we care?
We have problems keeping our ego in perspective.
They have problems keeping food on their table.
Not that long ago, we were in that same place.
How did we become so self-absorbed?
We have hard times too, but if we put it in perspective... well, maybe we can see why we were born so far apart.
