"Lil' dragon... do fly away from this place. I can no longer care for you... the remnants of my life, are now sim—". The old man attempted to utter his final sentence, but coughed feebly as blood replaced the words he wished to speak. Tattered and weakened by the mortal wound in his chest he laid there and mustered his final words to the small creature with a frail chuckle and a beaming smile.

"Seems this is it lil' one... do not fret for I will give you this..." He steadily places it on the palms of the creature. Bewildered and sobbing profusely, the creature hugged the man. "Not yet... there is one more thing I must give you lil' one." He gestures with his index finger and points to his chest, with his face still looking up at the looming nimbus sky. "You have been despised... by all who look upon you. A Calamity, they say. For longer than I have known...you. And yet... these past years, you are...anything but that. You're a kindred spirit who is... and has always been... my family." He coughs once more, his final time and gestures for the creature to come close to his lips to listen to his frail voice utter.

"My final gift to you... your name is...". Thunder roars through the sky and as a bolt of light strikes the ground, the earth is left to quake as the immediate area is lit ablaze. This was but for a moment, as the downpour followed, bringing the sky's tears to drown out the flames.

A robed man stood alone amidst the ongoing rain. With the appearance of a younger man with long grey hair, he stood with a cane in his left hand and a calm demeanor etched upon his face. Departing from the watery grave, his feet trembled as he walked with heavy steps from what appeared to be a bodily visage under a muddy mound. And though the rain drowned out his steps, he spoke and repeated one syllable of a single word, for each step he took.

"Naaa...taa...iii...velle."

As the man disappeared in the distance, the rain too somehow that day vanished. 100 years later, luscious greenery enveloped the land introducing a myriad of different vegetation and even animals to the land. Among the many anomalies brought by this forest, however, is a giant sage tree rumored to grant 1 wish, according to several travelers and merchants that frequent the area. Though such is simply a means to get more traffic of resources from the area. The real meaning of this oddity is likely the soil beneath it.

As to what occurred there decades ago... only one knows.
