"What are you doing here?"
It was the only moment Makima could have been seen angry, the only moments such disgusting emotion could twist her face and only one person brought it out of her.
"I don't like you more then you do me Conquest." Sho said, standing with her back to the wall. "But I know when you are watching, and we needed to talk even if i didn't the idea."
"That's why you killed my rats?" Sho had found the rat and with a grin, crunched it under a foot, adding to the blood of the previous fight, then telling another rat to 'drag her ass over her' and so she was here, wondering what this all was.
"Yeah, as much as I despite you horsemen for what you did to me this affects my contracts and some of them work for you, so it is both our problems."
"Well speak." Makima said with a sneer.
Sho scoffed.
"There's a primal walking the earth, I could only stop him with a deal purely to my disadvantage."
"That's... Bothersome." Makima and her agreed on something for once it seems. "Is it..."
"It isn't darkness." Sho eased the worry, horsemen were strong, but primals were stronger. "It was Time."
"How do you think this could have happened?" Makima asked, clearly annoyed.
"I don't know, it is still the same Time as before so it wasn't death bringing him up." Sho said, this was both of their problems because it meant one thing. "Someone made a contract to have the Time devil on earth and it specifically came after Himeno, my main contract currently."
"I care for that less." Makima simply stated. "You did your contract with him and he left you alone, book closed and done. Whoever contracted him didn't get what they want end of story, Time free of its contract."
"I don't believe he'll bother us any time soon sure." Sho agreed tho annoyed too. "But that means they can be brought up and it is someone that could now go after Denji."
"You have a contract with him as I saw."
"I do, so I must stay true to it and that boy follows you like a lapdog, so I must warn you. This person might pull more strings and people will now be after Denji, endangering all those around him even more."
"As much as it displeases me that you are correct." Makima rubbed her face with a sigh, whiching the subject without finishing her sentence. "What you'd advise?"
"We need a squad to protect him, of powerful devil hunters and maybe fiends, because if I am to be able to keep your little gaggle of people alive I cannot be fighting primals and powerful devils myself."
"Oh I despise you and how you are correct with all that you say."
"Feeling's mutual."
"Let's make a deal, to make this easier on both of us."
"Was one contract with me not enough Conquest?"
Makima was irked by the ever lasting grin.
"Deals are the only language we both speak." Technically calling Sho stupid but the contract devil just summoned an empty parchment paper. "You work as part of the devil hunting bureau of Japan, you work for me, and protect my useful pawns. I won't stand in your way on how you do it and will provide reinforcements to the squad."
"And you leave Himeno out of this stuff." Himeno could tell Makima was not happy with her, Sho could tell. "I know you wished she perished but that's no longer the case, forget that, got it? Because if she does die and it is because of you... Lets hope a devil can regenerate from atoms."
"I'll leave her to you, she is not as useful at the others."
"She's my contract, careful Conquest, careful."
"Is it a deal?"
"Yes, yes it is."
The light blue cursive wrote itself down and crumbled into a ball she grabbed out of the air.
"If you break the contract." Sho held the paper ball. "I'll make you regret it." and threw it in her mouth, breathing out the smoke from crushing it up into Makima's face.
"Same to you."
Sho scoffed with a sly grin.
"Now scram, I've got things to do."
"On of these days Contract, you will have everything going badly for you."
"I'll wait for it."
Sho sighed when she was alone, rolling her eyes.
It was better warning Makima then to keep this silent and have it bite her in the ass but she couldn't bare her, much less when she was in pain and tired.
"Let's find her." She muttered, the darkness of the accursed void eating away at her again. "How odd that a void devil doesn't exist." She muttered, only a few knew it existed but those few devils should be scared of it... Oh whatever.
This day couldn't get any longer.
