Prologue

 The name's Ace. Ace Xavier Lawson.

I write this as a warning to any who may come across this. Don't make the same mistakes as I did. I beg you, don't make the same mistakes I did.

I won't give you much right now, but I will give you one warning. Don't go to the police. They won't help you. Whatever you do, don't trust the government.

Read my experiences. Take my words to heart. Learn what I went through, learn what we all went through. Learn what you can do. It's too late for me, but with tremendous luck, this book landed in the hands of the right person. Someone who can save the rest of the general population.

They're gone. All of us. Gone. Rishabh is the last. You can trust him with anything. Well, I did. I trusted him with my life, I can only hope it was worth it.

Save them. Save everyone.
