A few days later while the team was training a shadow flew overhead, when the team looked up, they saw it was reylyn. The wings looked newish and the mask looked different. Reylyn flew into the air quite high before free falling for a minute, then going back to flying normally.

"Cad é an fuck?" Bella and Pietro say at the same time "he never told me he got them working again" Pietro says sadly as Bella starts training with her scythe

Reylyn seemed to be flying easier and faster than before. He dived down towards the ground, a trailing cloud of dust followed him as he flew close to the ground before shooting back up. He turned and circled above the base.

Kate walked out from the base.

"He's been working on them for the past few days, it seems to be helping him recover. Looks like he prefers the air rather than the ground. Just like his mother." Kate said, smiling a bit at the end as she looked up at Reylyn.

Bella freezes from her attack on her brother when she hears Kate say the words "just like his mother" and Bella gets kicked backwards and lays flat on the ground her scythe a few feet away from her.

Pietro walks up to Kate as Bella lays on the ground "What do you mean by that Kate?" Pietro asks Kate curiously

"Reylyn and Faelynns mother, Zeneria. She loved being in the air more then anything. She started Task Force Six, along with their father. But he left a year after and became.... unreliable." Kate said, smilingl until the last part.

"Where did he go?" Pietro asks Kate Bella walking towards Price

"He left. And went home. He refused to help and kept mostly to himself. Claiming to love her but never showed it. When he left the military, that was the last time I ever saw him before..." Kate's words trailed off slightly.

" before? " Pietro asks "before what"

"Before the house fire... it killed Zeneria...along with reylyns father and older sister.." Kate said.

"I can understand the trauma... Bella and I both can..."

"Zeneria Started the first All women task force in the area, an elite force of the strongest women I had ever seen. That was task force six when it started. She went by Phoenix, and was the one who created the wings originally, Reylyn learned from her and made his own tweaks." Kate said.

" makes sense that he followed in her footsteps... that's actually what Bella is doing"Pietro says sadly as Bella stands quietly next to Price with tears forming in her eyes.

"She cared about him, unlike his father who paid him no mind." Kate said.

"I worry about him, Kate. He put up one hell of a fight after what happened." Price said, his arms crossing over his chest.
