Prapai had a long, good life. Well not so long actually, but he knew his not so long but good life was coming to its end. Prapai always wondered how he might die. He considered crashing while racing, he considered a heart attack caused by all the coffee he's pretty much addicted to by now. But he did not consider his cute boyfriend being the cause of his death.
But there is no way Sky is not going to kill him when he gets home.
Prapai was left home alone. And when Prapai is left home alone he sometimes get studpid ideas. Just like the one he got a few hours ago.
He decided he is going to be a helpful boyfriend who does some cleaning around the house. So he started in the kitchen that was pretty much cleaned up anyway since Sky does not like messy kitchens. Bedroom and bathroom were next. While cleaning the living room he avoided Sky's desk, not daring to touch or move anything that was there of course. He does like when things in his office are being moved eider.
And then he decided to tidy up the flower racks that were packed with Sky's beloved plants.
He without thinking about it removed all the plants from the racks and placed them on the floor and on the coffee table so he could wipe off the dust and a bit of dirt that was there.
When the racks were clean he was about to put the plants back.
That was the moment he knew, he fucked up.
He had no idea what plant was supposed to go where.
Sky choses every spot for every plant very carefully, with care and with thinking about what each plant needs. If it needs more sunlight, Sky places it closer to the window. If it prefers less sunlight it goes further from the window where there is a bit more shadow.
Prapai had no idea what each plant wants or needs. They look all the same to him. He likes them only because they make Sky happy, otherwise he would not care about plants at all.
Prapai was starting to panic while trying to desperately recall at least one plant's correct place. It was impossible. He of course put all plants from all three racks on the floor and on the coffee table at the same time, because he thought it would be easier and quicker to clean up the racks that way. It was, the racks were clean, but all the plants being moved at the same time really complicated things for Prapai.
Even if he would have cleaned up the racks one at the time he would still not put the correct plant in its correct place. But now? Each plant could go on any of the three racks.
"I am so dead" Prapai muttered
Sky cares about his plants a lot. He constantly keeps making sure they are healthy and have everything they need. He smiles when they are growing and blooming and gently praises them for it.
Prapai sometimes feels jealous at the plants when Sky is praising them with a smile on his face because he uses a soft, loving voice while talking to them, the same one he sometimes uses while he is talking to Prapai. When Prapai is being good, that is. Prapai is sure he'll not hear Sky's soft and loving tone of voice for a while now
Sky cares about his plants and he does not like Prapai to do anything with them. He does not even like to let Prapai water them because he does not know how much water each plant needs. When Sky needs to leave for more than one day and the plants are left in Prapai's care he leaves Prapai a list with very clear and very detailed instructions to make sure his plants will get the care they need.
Sky does not like to let Prapai even water his plants, why on Earth did Prapai think that this was a good idea? He did not think to be honest. He just wanted to do something nice for Sky. He just wanted Sky to come home where everything is tidied up and clean. He wanted Sky to come home and be happy to see what a loving and caring boyfriend he has. Sky would give Prapai a hug and a kiss and he would smile at him.
