With difficulty, I escaped my unconscious state to find my self in yet another new location. This time it's near a sewer system entrance. For a moment the overwhelming smell of the sewage made me forget my panic. But after a few seconds every thing came back to me all at once.

"Terra!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

"Shut up."

I recognized the voice before I even saw who it was. Shi was standing on a pile of boxes a few yards to my right. He had something hung over his shoulder. No. Not something, someone. Terra.

"What did you do the her?" I asked in a whimpering voice at first then again but loud and demanding.

"What did you do to her?!"

"Me, nothing my Noise on the other hand..."

Shi threw her body forward as I raced to catch her nearly lifeless body, barely saving it from hitting the ground. That was when I saw her face. It was covered in scars. Three claw marks covered her ghostly pale face. Blood soaked her arms and back. She was completely damaged. But she was still breathing. I could hear her breath barely escaping her mouth. She was struggling to stay alive. No. No. She was so eager and confident the last time I saw her, how...how could this happen?

I turned to face Shi, still clutching Terra close to me. "What did you do to her?!" I shouted again.

"Dr..dr..drake" She managed to say.

"Terra!" I snapped all my attention back to the dying girl in my arms.

"I'll save you, I promise, I'll find a way to heal you...heal. That's it the pin!"

I reached for the pin that healed me in my fight against the wolves, and found it there. I held it out to Terra and tried and tried to get it to work but it wouldn't.

"I'll just leave you two to your own matters." Shi snapped and vanished in an instant.

"I thought he'd never leave."

"Who's there?" I yelled at the empty area around me.

"Let's just say, a friend."

I turned to find a boy no older than 17 dressed in a white button down shirt and khakis standing in front of me. This boy seemed familiar but I just couldn't...wait, that's it, the boy who shot the wolves. He was once again standing before me.

"I have to work fast before it's too late. I had to wait till after he left so that Shi wouldn't know that I'm back." Said the boy.

"What are you doing?" I asked nervously.

"I'm healing her of course, I can't have one of the only two people who can take down Shi dying on me now can I. And besides it seems like you care for her safety' don't you?" He added

"Well of course I do, and what was that about us being able to take that freak down?"

"Done. Now I assume most of your questions can be answered by my associate. Ah. Here he comes now. One last thing before I go, could you not mention that I was here to him there are a few more things I need to do before he sees me." The boy responded.

And with that he vanished just like Shi. And off in the distance I saw the boy from the coffee shop running towards me.
