In the aftermath of the female wyvern's demise, the alpha wyvern knew he had to tie up loose ends. The youngling, a male, posed a potential threat to his throne in the years to come. The alpha wyvern was determined to secure his reign and eliminate any future challenges. The youngling had to be killed.

when he was airborne he saw down below a black-winged figure the size of a goose trying to run away, it was the youngling.

The alpha wyvern didn't want to waste time, he dived into the youngling, its wings producing a piercing, swooshing sound as it cut through the air.

He slammed into the ground.

*Wham!

"Eek!" luckily the youngling saw him before and was able to evade in the tight moment. The swizzling sound gave away the alpha's position and enough time for the youngling to react.

The alpha wyvern swiveled around, sweeping the youngling with his massive tree-shaped blade-like tail.

The alpha shoved the youngling harshly aside, his towering size and wide reach making it impossible for him to miss. The poor creature tumbled into a nearby bush, jostled and disoriented by the roughness of the move.

The alpha wyvern couldn't catch sight of the small youngling, so he opened his maw and unleashed a thundering roar. Amidst the noise came a pitch-black orb from his throat, and with a loud crack, it burst forth several blinding lightning bolts at the bushes.

The alpha wyvern waited, keenly scanning the bushes for any sign of movement. Suddenly, out of them darted the youngling, limping yet still running. His thigh was injured and his webbings were partially charred from the assault.

The youngling wyvern's heart pounded in his chest as he darted through the dense foliage of the forest, his small frame camouflaged among the shadows and dappled sunlight. He knew that his life depended on his ability to stay hidden, to outwit the relentless pursuit of the alpha wyvern.

With each step, the youngling's agile body weaved through the underbrush, his nimble wings helped him move around undetected. His eyes darted around, scanning for any signs of movement or danger. The forest seemed to close in around him, the branches reaching out like gnarled fingers, threatening to expose his presence.

Meanwhile, the alpha wyvern thrashed through the forest, a creature of immense size and power. His thunderous roars echoed through the trees, causing birds to scatter and small animals to flee in terror. His scales glistened in the sunlight, a fearsome sight that struck fear into the hearts of even the bravest creatures.

The youngling's hopes sank like a stone as he found himself in the presence of the alpha. The alpha wyvern's imposing form blocked out the light, and his piercing eyes scoured the area for any sign of the youngling. Eventually, his gaze lands on him, and the two lock eyes in a moment of unspoken terror. They both knew that this would be the end.
