*Ring ring* the phone rang

Who tf is calling me this early?Do they not understand that I'm on vacation.

I ran my hand across the pedestal that was next to the bed with my eyes still shut and my head still glued to the pillow.
After a couple of seconds of searching I finally got a hold of my cellphone and answered it.

"Hello.."the person on the other side said.

"mmmmm" I mumbled still defrosting.

"We need to talk" She said.

"Who-is-this?" I said trying to not wake up Ashantii.

"It's Jones." I immediately dropped the call and blocked the number.
I'm not going through this shit again.
I tried to go back to sleep.

"Good girl"she cooed.
When the fuck did she wake up.Was she up this entire time?

She was listening this entire time.
She pulled me closer and kissed me.I was still confused as to how she was already awake and listening to the phone call.I know she's an early bird but damn it's like 3am in the morning.

"I know what you're thinking
I've been up this entire time I usually take an hour or two to myself to just look at you as you sleep.Weird I know but you look so beautiful in your sleep.You look beautiful always and i cant seem to take eyes off you ever."She said smiling in this other creepy way that even I didn't get.What she said was cute and heartwarming but I had this bad feeling in my stomach I don't know why.

"It's still early.Lets get some sleep we have a big day tomorrow and alot of preparation to do today." I said trying to change the topic.

"Okay baby but first I have a question for you."

"Shoot"

"If Jones or that worker at the store tried to see you face to face what would you do?And are you attracted to them?" She asked .

"Firstly that's two questions."I said and she laughed.

"Secondly I'd avoid them and no I don't find them attractive.You know that I'm yours right?" I reassured her.

"I know...it's just that-"

"Listen I don't know what's been putting you on edge and if it's me I'm sorry if I make you feel like you can't trust me.But I can tell you that no matter how many idiots would try to get with me I know where home is and who home is and no one will ever come before you.Stop stressing yourself out about people who don't even mean anything to me.I love you Ashantii I married you because I love you.So please please don't let these people get to you .You have my heart."I pleaded.

I'm honestly just tired of her being on edge for some odd reason she trusts me but doesn't trust anyone else which I get but it makes it difficult to form other bonds such as friendships.She only accepts Camila and Deja to be my closest friends.
Besides that anyone else is walking on thin ice until proven otherwise.

"Fine I'm sorry for being on edge I just don't want to lose you.You're my everything and I'll literally go insane if you ever leave me.I love you so much Tiana and I will try my best to be the best I'm sorry for scaring you I just don't like it when other people talk to what's mine.Its even worse when you see how they look at you I just wanna love you and protect you and grow old with you."She said before getting all teary.

Aww my baby.
I don't know how I can prove to you that I'd never do you wrong.I love you way too much to just let go.

I pulled her closer and wiped her tears.

"Hey.Look at me."

"I'm not going anywhere.I never was and never will.I'm yours.Forever and ever.In health and in sickness.On earth and even when I'm dead.Don't forget that."I said reminding her of our vows.

We ended up cuddling as it started raining outside and I even ended up somehow falling asleep.

I woke up to and empty bed and heard a beautiful voice in the kitchen I knew it was Ashantii even though she barely sang her voice would give you chills as it was one of those velvet voices she has a beautiful singing voice I could literally listen to her sing everyday.Her voice echoed throughout the entire house.

I stared at her from afar.Listening to the lyrics.

"You ready for breakfast baby?" She excitedly said before turning towards the direction of door of the room that I was currently watching her from.How does she do this?Like does she have some eyes at the back of her head.

"You haven't sang in such a long time."I said heading towards her in my bunny slippers.

"Well when you have a beautiful wife like I do you'd want to sing daily."She said as she placed a plate before me and my favorite cup of tea.I instantly dug into the meal .

Her cellphone started ringing and she excused herself.Weird.
Why wouldn't she want to answer the phone while I'm here.Maybe it's her colleagues calling afterall they do have a big event happening tomorrow.I just continued eating the delicious breakfast she made me.
