Chapter 21

Samuel's p o v :

I feel so whole as I hold Lilith in my arms, no one has ever felt this comfortable and safe. I was so shocked to find Lilith sitting in me and Cedric's hangout spot. I was really hurt, when she just abruptly hung up on me the other day but now, knowing that she thought of surprising me and actually surprised me, I've forgiven her.

Never ever in my entire life would I have thought Lilith would like me, let alone kiss me. The kiss felt so good, her soft plump lips against mine, made me feel like I was in heaven, but it was missing something, I dont know what but it felt incomplete but so good at the same time.

We pull apart when someone starts clapping, a lady was clapping while smiling at us. She came up to us.

"oh my god, you guys look so good together." she says and grabs my shoulder. "keep my daughter happy, okay? Or I will shred you into pieces." She adds and ruffles my hair, smiling at me.

"of course aunty, I'll take very good care of her, dont worry." I tell her and smile, looking at Lilith. She looks pale but still smiles awkwardly.

"good, you better keep your word." I nod at her, still smiling.

"if you dont mind, I would like to have a word with my daughter." she asks, lovingly.

"no no I don't mind, go ahead."

I sit on the chair, a few feet away from the reception and wait for the two to come back. After so long, they finally come back. Lilith's face was red as if though she cried, but she was smiling widely so I don't question her.

Kartha aunty, Lilith's mum, offers to get dinner for us and celebrate our relationship. I agree and we go.

Something feels off...
