Lucien's eyes widened, looking at me. He slowly moved his hand to my chin, keeping eye contact. His thumb passed my lips slowly, as I gave a look of approval. He pulled my chin in for a kiss, it was deep, and passionate. I melted into his touch, as we kissed until we ran out of breath. I loved every moment of it.
He pulled away and rubbed my cheek with his hand. I looked into his eyes while smiling. He gave a soft giggle, leaning forward to kiss me head. Neither of us said anything. Usually silence always meant something bad, but this time it was good.
"I meant every word I said. I truly believe you are the one."
My eyes started to tear up, but quickly wiped them away.
"Thank you, Luci, I simply think we are meant to be."
I gave a soft giggle, as he gave one in response. For a moment we just stared into each other's eyes, which was until I saw a flash of light in the mirror.
I glanced over but saw nothing but the usual. I tried to ignore it, but it seemed as if it was wings. Maybe it was a simple glitch? I'm wearing the correct clothes, so I don't see how it would glitch. I looked away, but there it was again! I looked over to see a pair of wings flashing, but instead, grey? A moment passed before I realized it was on Lucien, not me. It had to be a glitch. I pushed it past me before a voice broke me out of my confusion.
"Hey Kam, I have something to show you."
"Hm? What would that be?"
I looked at him confused before I stood up, getting off him. I reached my hand out to help him up. God his hands were soft. He walked over to the closet. In a corner he lifted a piece of the wooden flooring pulling out a small box, with a key on top.
"I wanted to give this to you earlier but, I couldn't."
He handed the box to me with a worried expression. I grabbed the key, slowly unlocking the box. When I opened it, I was confused. It took a moment before my eyes lit up. I was so excited I could cry, but I didn't. I jumped onto Lucien, hugging him tight.
"Where did you find this!?"
"When Felix first found me, he locked me up in his office. He was too idiotic and didn't lock anything so when I looked around, I found that. I assumed it was yours, am I, correct?"
"It is! Thank you so much.!"
"Yeah... it was mine from when I was young. It didn't fit me at the time, it was way too big for me"
It was my crown. It was white, imbedded with red stones. My father had made it for me when I was younger. I giggled as I walked over to the mirror, placing it on my head carefully. It felt amazing have it fit, let alone wear it. Lucien walked over to me, wrapping his arms around my waste from behind. He rested his head on my shoulder. I look a good look at myself laughing softly. Wait! There it was again! The wings had flickered again. It had to be a glitch again. Or maybe something to do with the crown?
"Thank you... so much... its beautiful."
"Hey, listen, don't thank me for something that needed to be done."
He smiled leaning his head up, kissing my neck. I turned a light shade of pink while smiling at him. I turned around to kissed him, getting the same in return. I looked him in the eyes.
"Hey Lucien?"
"Yes dear?"
"What are we?"
A moment passed of silence. I worried it wasn't the correct time to ask, what was until a voice appeared.
