Y/N POV:

I walk for what feels like forever, each tree seems to merge and look the same as I walk further and further into the endless greenery. I finally begin to see an opening to a small clearing. I pick up my pace, and rush towards it. I see a treeless patch, and a footpath emerges. I realise I've made it to the crack stone ruins. It's covered in ash, litter and old, used needles from the constant drug use, that seems to be it's only purpose now. I walk up to it, and I can see someone crouched in the corner, through the gaps in the remaining planks. I walk past the building, as I'm not in the mood to get punched by a drug addict today.

I continue down the foot path and turn off it when I reach the edge of another patch of trees, not wanting to get lost in there. I turn left and walk across the vast field. In the distance, I can see some houses in Jericho, and debate whether or not I should break the rules and go into town even though I don't have permission from Principal Weems. Before I can try and make a decision, I hear some commotion from behind me, in the direction of the crack stone ruins. I walk a bit closer to try and see what's going on. I hear someone talking, and when I get closer, I realise that it's Wednesday calling my name and looking for me. I stop dead and refuse to move any closer, already fearing the worse. I stop and watch as she walks into the ruins, and after a few seconds I see the addict leave. After he walks a few paces out of the area, something runs out of the trees, and attacks him, ripping him to pieces in seconds. I freeze as I instantly recognise the creature. I watch on in horror, as blood is splattered across the ground.

I then see the beast advance towards the ruins, where Wednesday is. My fight or flight kicks in and I recklessly run towards it, in an attempt to save her. It puts it's eye up to the gaps in the planks and looks in. It turns as it hears my racing footsteps. I conjure a blast of energy and throw it at the creature, it turns and runs before it can hit it. It retreats back into the trees. I run straight into the ruins to check on Wednesday, and I see her on the floor, in some kind of trance. Thing is there looking at her, I think, he seems calm. He turns and scuttles over to me when I enter and begins to tap something, which I obviously can't translate. I rush over to Wednesday, feeling worried, as I don't know what's happening to her. I go to shake her, but as soon as I touch her, I feel myself being pulled away from reality and my body falls flat against the floor.

The sky is now dark, it's night time. I see a flame flickering and as my eyes adjust, I see a mob surrounding someone, they're shouting and jeering at the person. When I stand up and walk closer, I see a girl, she looks like Wednesday. Except, she has white hair and an accent I don't recognise. The mob is forcing her into a building. I'm about to follow her, when I see Wednesday watching it all unfold from behind a barrel. I stare at her in shock, and she must feel my eyes lock onto her, as she looks back at me. Her eyes widen as soon as she sees me, she rushes over to me, with a look I haven't seen on her face before, relief.

"Y/N, where were you? I went looking for you, but I couldn't find you, and then there was a large eye looking at me, and then I fell into a vision," She says in a quick rant, then pauses. "Wait, how are you seeing my vision as well?"

"You have visions?"

"Well, I evidently do, and I just told you that, now answer my question, how are you here as well?"

"Well, I was on the field near the ruins, and I saw you walk in with that creature close behind you, so I ran to try and protect you. I scared the creature off, but when I walked in you were laid on the floor, with your eyes rolled back in you head, so I touched you to try and shake you awake, but I must've got pulled into whatever this is."

"That's strange," She mutters, deep in thought.

"Tell me about it, this whole town is. Anyway, what is this?"

Oh right, I think we're seeing into the past," She says, with no further elaboration.

She then begins to walk away towards the mob, and I follow her. We keep walking and enter the big building with the Wednesday look alike. Once we enter, Wednesday pulls me into behind a pillar with her, and we hide. A man then talks of ridding the world of outcasts, calling them 'godless creatures', I instantly recognise him as Joseph Crackstone, Jericho's beloved founder. He then shuts the doors. We walk straight towards the girl, she seems to be able to see us, as here eyes widen when we approach. I suddenly feel myself being pulled away and I see Wednesday's eyes flash with worry as I disappear from her sight. Someone's shaking me, and I'm pulled back to reality. When I open my eyes, the sun is up and I see Enid's worried face hovering over me.

"Omg, what happened? Why were you and Wednesday laid on the floor like that?"

"Well, I found Wednesday here and went to touch her, but got pulled into a vision she was having."

"Wednesday has visions?"

"Yeah, I just found out as well."

I try to touch Wednesday again, but I stay in the real world this time. Enid doesn't ask any further questions, as she seems to have trouble trying to digest the fact that Wednesday has visions, I just sit in silence and wait for her to come back into reality. It only takes a few minutes, and she lays there wide eyed for a moment, then she sees me and bolts to sit up right. I put my hand onto her shoulder to keep her steady, and she surprisingly leans into the contact, rather than rejecting it.

"Hey, what happened?"

"That girl turned out to be Goody Addams, my ancestor, and outcasts were burnt in that building," She looks around at the ruins. "Well, this building."

I suddenly feel sick to my stomach. "Let's get out of here then."

She nods silently. I stand up, then hold out my hand to help her up, and she takes it. I pull her to her feet, and we walk away from the ancient murder site. Enid follows behind us silently.

"I'm glad you're both okay, but I'm going back to the dorm now."

"Okay, thank you for caring enough to look for us, bye Enid," I say.

She nods with a small smile, then turns and walks away. Thing follows her, seeming to have had enough drama for one day. Wednesday seems a bit shaky on her feet, so I walk a little bit further into the field with her, then sit down and pat the spot next to me. She sits down, and I suddenly remember why I came out here, to escape the consequences of the kiss. However, she came looking for me, and didn't reject my touch or help. What does all of this mean?

"I'm sorry," I say, finally breaking the silence.

"For what?" She says, turning to look at me.

"For what happened earlier."

"My vision? You don't control them."

"No," I pause. "The kiss."

She falls silent and looks out at the field in front of us.

"Why? Do you regret it?"

"Do you?"

She turns to look at me again, and I look down at the grass between us, not wanting to hear her answer. Instead of answering, she places her hand on the side of my cheek, and cups my face. She pulls my head up to look at her and I see a fire in her eyes, one of passion and desire. She leans in, closing her eyes, and our lips meet. I feel fireworks going off in my head and heart. I kiss her back and put one of my hands on her back, to pull her closer. I put my other one around her neck, holding her there. She puts her spare hand in my hair. We hold the kiss until we have to pull away for air, she looks at me with a look of pure adoration in her eyes. I smile at her, feeling drunk in love. She really is the perfect girl. I then see her lips twitch and a small smile forms on her face, and it's the cutest thing I've ever seen. She's so incredibly gorgeous. I really couldn't love her more.
